The sky’s the beginning

“I am frightened and I am fearless. I am weak and I am a warrior. I am uncertain and I am confident. And by learning to embrace the paradox in all of it, I am more myself.”—Alicia Keys 00001aee

So I read an incredibly inspiring book this weekend. And, no, it wasn’t published by Hay House or any other self-help purveyor. The book, More Myself, is Alicia Keys’ riveting memoir that further proves there’s little this superstar can’t do.

Here are five reasons I now have a huge girl crush on this activist, Grammy-winner, entrepreneur and creative genius:

1. She knows that with every word and intention, she creates the masterpiece that is her life. That’s a quote, straight from the pages of her book. From the very beginning of her illustrious career, when she signed her first contract at—get this?—age 15, she has been aware of the universal energy that forms itself around her belief and thoughts.

2. She’s all-in as an activist. Her video, 23 Ways you Could be Killed if you’re Black in America is poignant and powerful and sadly, still as true as it was four years ago when she first made it.

3. She’s living proof that creativity is a synonym for spirituality. She has been using her art, expressing her truth to imagine a new world and design a new vision. As I write in my book, Art & Soul, Reloaded, the world will ultimately be bound back together not by politicians, but by thousands of individuals giving of their gifts, thousands of individuals becoming ambassadors of the possible.

4. She has been practicing meditation since 2015, using a Sanskrit mantra that translates to, “I bow to the Creative Wisdom, the Divine Teacher within.”

5. Like my gorgeous daughter, Taz, she eschews makeup. She even launched a movement (hashtag, #NoMakeup) that encourages women to be true to themselves. And I love that she freely admits that, like all of us, she stresses way too much about what other people think and has, for years, withheld parts of herself to make others feel comfortable. She details how all the photos of models and actresses and others we compare ourselves to have been heavily photoshopped. As she says, “I don’t want to cover up anymore—not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing.

If that’s not a manifesto worth following, I don’t know what is.

Here in Lawrence, Kansas, I’ve been celebrating little things—like moonflowers (it’s so much fun to watch at dusk as they begin to pulse and shimmy and ready themselves to burst open and salute the moon) and neon green-throated hummingbirds who recently congregated around my hummingbird feeder as they prepare for their journey south.

No matter what’s happening out there, my friends, it’s important to remember that inside us all is a subtle, invisible wisdom stream that’s 24/7 available to assist with our journey.

Have a fab week, my friends. Sending love and 222 blessings from the heart of America.

All Heaven Will Break Loose, the Virtual Edition

“We are not merely anticipating a new world, we are participating in the new world by the vibration we are carrying. We are the thing. We are the frequency.”—Dr. Michael Beckwith 00001ag

So I’d like to start today’s post with my miracle. And it involves every one of you.

Your incredible stories, your 222 sightings (way to go, Taz!), your neon rainbows and healed relationships and new poems and spiders spinning magic have rocked my world. I trust your world is reeling, as well.

What we’re doing here (turning our cheeks away from doom and gloom and turning them towards miracles) is no small thing.

Every time one of us receives an unexpected financial boost or an estranged friend gets back in touch, we contribute to the healing of planetary consciousness.

Spending time documenting miracles plants important seeds:

Maybe there IS a better way.

Maybe there IS an invisible force that longs to orchestrate miracles on our behalf.

Maybe we ARE entitled to SO MUCH MORE than what we’ve settled for.

We don’t know where these seeds might bloom. What big thing they might affect. What we DO KNOW is that our every thought affects consciousness.

I heard a wonderful story from Charles Eisenstein that speaks to this. He asked participants at a workshop to name the person who had done the most for South Africa. Universally, we all agreed. Has to be Nelson Mandela.

But Charles went on to pose this question. “What if the person who created the most change in South Africa was Mandela’s grandmother who, because she loved him unconditionally, gave him the strength to do the great healing in South Africa?”

The point is we can’t know how our decisions and little actions and miracle-spotting might play out in the world. We just know what we’re doing is important.

I’m so proud of the miracle team we’re forming here that has folks from well, South Africa and Argentina and Antigua (that teammate’s miracle was a rainstorm that corrected a long drought) and Scotland and many, many other places. We are hurling love and gratitude and miracle-mindedness all across the globe.

Today’s party game is simple. Turn off the news. Just for 24 hours. As Michael Beckwith says, “If you’re watching the news more than you’re praying (or, in our case, looking for miracles), you’re in trouble. As I’ve often said here on the blog, “watching too much news is like pinning a ‘please kick me’ sign to your back.”

I must continually vaccinate myself from fear. There are already enough people out there worrying about the future, creating worse-case scenarios.

I believe we miracle workers are the antidote.

For those who haven’t yet dipped their toe, I encourage you to read through some of the miracles posted in the last two day’s comment sections.

And, as always, please leave today’s miracle (remember we get new ones EVERY SINGLE DAY!) below.

You never know how your miracle could be the one to tip the cosmic scales.

Welcome to the miracle party!

“Sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”—Lewis Carroll

Wow! Wow! Wow! I had no idea that this many people would jump on board.

We’ve got miracle investigators from literally all over the world—New Zealand, Paris, Finland, Australia, to name just a few that identified themselves in the comments section.

What we’re doing this week is creating a resonant field of miracles. We’re tapping into that part of us that’s greater than what we see happening out there in the world. More than a seeking, it’s a recognition.

Living in miracles is to demonstrate what’s actually true. It’s what’s available to us when we give up our addiction to our old story. What we’re doing is planting seeds so that everyone can recognize the new story, the true story.

Today, is a new incarnation, a new chance to enjoy a better version of reality. Staying attached and stuck in the dominant paradigm of scarcity, limits and fear is counter to our own design.

Light is in us now. Why in the heck should we wait?

My big whopping miracle (I had many) was waking up to find an angel Taz once hung from her ceiling lying beside my bed. I also noticed, when I fired up my computer, there were exactly 222 messages here on the blog. It has surpassed that number now, but for me, who lives for signs from Taz, these miracles couldn’t be more perfect.

Today’s party game is to bring curiosity into everything you do. Whatever’s in front of you, whatever happens to be presented to you, ask to see it differently, ask to see it through the lens of illustrious possibility.

And remember to please report your daily miracle (the one you HEREBY EXPECT TO HAVE EVERY DAY) in the comments section below.

But mostly, remember to MAKE. THIS. FUN.

Be the pilot light

“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put new ideas into the world.”—Robert McKee00001ai

It’s a hot Thursday afternoon here in Lawrence, Kansas so I decided to sit down at my trusty computer and send out a couple stories, all of which inspired me. Hope they bring cheer to you, as well.

1. First story is about Helen Schucman, one of two scribes of the Course in Miracles. In 1965, when she unexpectedly joined Bill Thetford in the idea that “there has GOT to be a better way,” she noticed a psychic switch within her flipping on. For example, when Bill was traveling in the Virgin Islands, she sent him a mental message to bring her back a Florentine gold pin, which he actually did.

Another time, when they traveled to the Mayo Clinic, she saw a clear mental image of a nearby Lutheran Church. She even asked the taxi driver to drive around Rochester trying to locate it–to no avail. Soon thereafter, Bill found a picture of the very Lutheran Church she’d seen that had ironically been torn down to build the Mayo Clinic.

She’d get messages that say, a friend was thinking of suicide. She’d stop in the middle of working on a research paper and instruct Bill, “Quick! We must send (the friend) a message that the answer is life, not death.” And sure enough that friend had been depressed and had picked up a gun.

Another time, at an airport, she felt “waves of misery” from a woman named Charlotte who was terrified of flying. She and Bill ended up sitting with her on the plane, even holding her hand.

The point is, when you finally tire of the sad, lonely story dispensed by the world and sincerely ask for the “other way,” a power switch opens up within you. A power switch you can use to help the world.

2. Congressman John Lewis calls it a pilot light. This beautiful man has been involved in the Black Lives Matter movement (although differently named) since he was 23. He’s now 80 and, even though his skull was fractured during the Selma to Montgomery March, even though he has seen eight decades of racial injustice, he still believes in the reality of Martin Luther King’s beloved community.

In an interview with Krista Tippett, he said he still holds “this sense of faith that what you’re moving toward is already done. If you visualize it, if you can have faith that it’s there, it is already there.”

He said that weeks of training in non-violence enable him to see the spark of the divine in every human being, even those who beat him. He called it one of the highest forms of love.

“You can beat me, arrest me, take me to jail, but in spite of that I’m going to still love you. It’s a very demanding notion,” he admitted, “Not just having faith in yourself or faith in your movement, but faith in your enemies. In spite of the darkness of the hour, you have to believe, and you can never, ever give up on any possibility.

“If you’re a pilot light, you’re going to be around. If you’re a firecracker, you just go off. You’re here one moment, and gone in the next moment.

He called it revolutionary love, a fundamental shift inside our souls. It’s the “other way” advocated by A Course in Miracles.

3. The last story comes from a big-hearted reader named Naren Desai. He is currently coordinating a growing collection of photographers who not only share beauty with the world, but donate half of all proceeds to support charity. Hope you will consider supporting his Pictures for Progress that recently entered into a partnership with Trader Joe’s.

Here’s what he sent to my inbox:

“I am also starting a new Covid-19 “Spread the Love” campaign that has roots in some of the things I learned from you. In short, randomly handing out images to neighbors reminding them of the beauty in the world. Just wanted to say thank you and let you know you are thanked nightly in my gratitude sessions with the universe or FP.”

00001aj

Maybe that’s why so many cool 222 stories keep coming my way. I just learned Adam Levine has a 222 tattoo and the below song (which makes me cry) was produced by his 222 Records.

So those are my stories for today, kids. Have a great evening, a great weekend and keep being the pilot light.

Choosing a more nourishing narrative

“What time but now can truth be recognized?”—A Course in Miracles 00001s2

With all the uncertainty right now, it’s tempting to fill in the blanks with despair. When we don’t really know what’s going to happen—with the pandemic, with the economy, with the daily unrest—it’s easy to fast forward to fear.

Lately, I’ve been doing just that, listening to my ego instead of the Voice for Truth.

My ego is like a panther, perched and ready to pounce at the first sign of mind wandering.  If I go even a day or two without meditating, without counting my blessings, without tuning into a higher truth, that ornery ego slithers right in like a slimy used car salesman.

It tries to convince me that things NEED TO CHANGE. That things are definitely NOT OKAY. In my case, it especially likes to throw down the old “childless mother” card.

“You have good reason to feel sorry for yourself. You lost your only child, for God’s sake. You have every right to be miserable.”

And that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. Moping around. Focusing on what the Course calls “the valueless.”

In other words, I was focusing on a narrative that doesn’t serve me. It doesn’t serve my happiness, my highest intentions or the expanded awareness to which I am committed.

Just like I choose between eating junk food or healthy, nutritious meals, I choose between thoughts that are valueless (“Eeks! Everything’s going to hell”) or thoughts that are valuable (“This next breath is a lot more real than anything in the news, anything in my past.”)

Some argue that digging up the deep-seated past, addressing unconscious childhood wounds, failed relationships, etc, is how we feel better.

But I’ve discovered that the Course is right. The past is a valueless narrative with a bottomless pit. Most of it’s not even true–or not true right now.

It is only in the present that I can be free. More time, more rehashing, more ‘woe is me!’ never works.

The Course in Miracles urges me not to use these excuses, not to employ these grievances to attack myself. Those things, it tells me, reside in the lower frequencies. They’re fine, if I want to spend the rest of my life there–in the material, in the limited, in the fear.

But I made a commitment to Taz, to God and to myself that I was going to live in the higher frequency, the expanded consciousness, in what the Course calls, “the ancient peace I carry in my heart.” That’s where Taz is, that’s where we’ll all be eventually.

Every day, I get this choice. To chose a narrative of sorrow and pain. Or a narrative that brings me joy. For me, it has to be a daily practice.

A couple things that have brought me joy recently: The Space X flight a couple weeks ago was launched at exactly 2:22 my time. I enjoyed concocting the homemade yard sign in the above picture.

And this morning at Dunkin Donuts, we drove to the window only to be told that our lattes were paid for by the car in front of us. We offered to pay for the car behind us and the guy at the window said, “That’s what’s been happening all morning long.”

That’s love, guys, the only thing there is when we commit to focus on the nourishing narrative, the expanded consciousness, the Truth.

My secret weapon

Hate, in the long run, is about as nourishing as cyanide.” Kurt Vonnegut
taz photo strip

First of all, I’ve got to gush about all the AMAZING visions y’all (yes, I was born in Kentucky) added to our planetary vision board yesterday. Thank you SO MUCH!

That’s why I love possibility posses where all of us join together, play together.

One of my local posse members did me a solid yesterday by reminding me of some of my own words. (Yes, I need to re-read my own words). I find they are particularly useful when dealing with the political situation several of you mentioned yesterday in your visions for the new world.

Therefore, I decided to run the lesson from my new book, The Course in Miracles Experiment, that she said helped her so much. Enjoy!

Lesson 135 (If I defend myself I am attacked) is one of my favorite lessons. I use it ALL the time.

It comes in handy whenever I’m tempted to play victim. It’s the perfect antidote when I notice myself feeling offended by something someone says. It’s particularly useful when I forget the truth about myself.

Because anytime I defend myself, I take on a role that’s not really me.

To defend myself is to pretend I can be hurt. It’s to make believe that my perception, the hologram that proves itself over and over again to be incomplete, is somehow more accurate than the truth I’m learning here in the Course.

If I defend myself in any way, I forget that I am a beloved child of the Universe. I forget that everything is FOR me. Nothing is against me.

I forget that every single thing that happens, every single person who pushes my buttons is a gift.

This lesson doesn’t suggest overlooking something someone did to me. It says it’s impossible for anyone to DO something to me.

If my perception stays fixed (which it will once I start defending myself), nothing—not a miracle, not a sign, not an evidential slap in the face—can allow any other truth to manifest for me. All I can see, all I will ever see, is what the viewfinder of my limited perception shows me.

Instead of attacking back when my viewfinder shows my fellow humanoids spouting inanities, misinformation, and what looks like hate, I use this lesson to remember: they’re simply replaying old tapes and desperately need my love.

Radical actions such as choosing not to attack, to justify, to see the “crime” upsets the going cultural position. It creates a resonant field that goes out into the ethers making our world a little sweeter, a little safer, a little more beautiful.

Also, I’ve been meaning to mention that Hay House is sponsoring another You Can Heal Your Life Summit. I’m one of dozens of authors who will be included in this FREE week-long summit. If you haven’t already signed up (did I mention the Summit is absolutely free?), you can do it here.

Thanks, everybody. 222 Forever!

We got this, baby!

“The way will open if you believe it’s possible.”—A Course in Miracles angelnumber-222-1

You might have heard. The Kansas City Chiefs won the Superbowl last weekend. It was head coach Andy Reid’s 222nd professional win and it happened on 2/2/20.

Needless to say, it was highly significant for me. And for the 222 Foundation that honors the brilliant, beautiful Tasman McKay Grout.  The three amazing projects (out of 100 applications) we’ve chosen to fund this year will be announced on February 22.

In the meantime, I wanted to share something I learned about Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, that applies to today’s Course in Miracles lesson.

In the fourth quarter, when the Chiefs were down ten points with less than nine minutes to go, Mahomes was chanting to each of his teammates, “We got this, baby.”

Despite what the scoreboard said, despite two earlier interceptions, despite the fact the game was nearly over, Mahomes was convinced, “We got this, baby!”

That’s classic ACIM Lesson 41 that tells us to quit inventing cures for made-up problems. It advises us to, instead, question the reality of the problem.

And that’s exactly what Patrick Mahomes did last Sunday. So what if they were down 10 points? Who cares there are only eight minutes left?

Those “facts” are only a “problem” if he saw them as a problem. He did not. In a short eight minutes, the Chiefs made a flurry of three touchdowns, won the Superbowl and proved the Course that says, “The way will open if you believe it’s possible.”

So today, instead of coming up with a solution for whatever “problem” appears to plague you, remember Patrick Mahomes. Remember the Course in Miracles that teaches us to “give up our allegiance to problems.” We can make an attempt this very day to go past the cloud of insane thoughts and reach the light beyond.

Why not let the universe surprise you

“From a new perception comes a future very different from the past.”—A Course in Miracles 002azul

It’s time, guys! Time to break free from all stale, boring, petrified concepts.

Why stay trapped in a prison of scarcity, a ticking time bomb of fear? A Course in Miracles is very clear—the dominant paradigm is nothing but a make-believe fable that we can overturn at any time.

Once we let go, we discover it’s safe to love with abandon, it’s prudent to see beyond appearances, it’s advisable to dance with the unseen.

As Kobe Bryant’s shocking death reminds us, there is no time to waste. Why devote even one second to judgment? To waiting? To withholding?

Kobe is on to the next big adventure, as is his daughter, as is my daughter. Won’t be long until we’re all enjoying the big cosmic dance.

But until then, let’s throw off the shackles of anxiety and panic. Let’s overturn frozen concepts.

Maybe we could just trust the universe might know what it’s doing.

And with that thought, I’d like to return to my former practice of sharing “oh wow! stories from my inbox:

1. “I was in Nevada walking through a desert ranch with my boyfriend. As we were running back to the car, I stopped and picked up a black rock in the sand. I put it in my backpack and promptly forgot about it…until a week later when someone posted a picture on Facebook of a black rock they found on the ground at a concert. The same concert I had been at a few days prior ! I thought “Oh shoot, that’s my Nevada rock! I ran to my bag and it was unzipped!!!! But when I reached my hand in, it was there! Safe and sound!

“Now I was interested in finding out about the rock. So I messaged my friend who is          a rock crystal expert. As I was shining my light on the rock to videotape for her, I saw that MY NAME was carved into the rock !!!!! In all caps. KAYLIN. On a rock that I happened to pick up in the middle of the desert. How ?!?!?!!!”

2. “Like a lot of people, I have read hundreds of self-help books over the years. Yours was different. I’d been unemployed for 8 months and was finding it very hard to get a job. I also needed a new car. I did the 48-hour manifestation exercise that you talk about (in E-Squared). I did it exactly as you said. And, both times it worked within 24 hours. Firstly, I got offered a job and secondly, I found the car I wanted to buy at the price I wanted to pay in the exact color I wanted. Wow! The job I applied for wasn’t the one I got. It was a supervisor job with a $15,000 higher wage. I’m blown away.”

3. “Your books have inspired me to step out differently in my view of this universe we live in. And since you mentioned getting a free cup of coffee, I thought to myself, “How am I going to get a free cup of coffee? I’m a stay at home mom with a 4- and a 1- year old.

“Well, I met up with a friend at this craft event and she (without my thinking about it or asking) bought me a coffee!! It didn’t dawn on me until the next day when I picked up your book again and it popped in my head, “Oh my gosh I got a free coffee!” Crazy how abruptly in happened!”

I share that last story to emphasize how important it is to open our eyes, to actually notice the beauty, the gifts, the wonderment.

She could easily have missed it. Like we all do when we refuse to budge from our old positions, our old beliefs.

Today, I start fresh.

Yet another trio of tales from the annals of magic and enchantment

“What power is this. I can’t say. I just know that it’s there.”–Alexander Graham Bell 222 sign

I have a magical inbox. It delivers miracle stories from readers of my books. Anytime I need a boost, l simply open my email and voila! an inspiring new story shows up. Lately, these stories often include pictures of 222.

It’s kinda amazing how creative Taz gets in communicating through all of you—bologna biscuits? Yesterday, for example, a reader who works in a bookstore said she was thinking of me when a customer named Tamsin signed up for a loyalty card and got the digital security code—222. She thanked me for reminding her of the beauty, magic and love that always surrounds us when we’re open to it.

Ashley wrote to tell me that, after taking her real estate exam and missing it twice, she started doing the exercises in E-Squared, going so far as to write her requests on a cocktail napkin. Not only did she get an unexpected check in the mail (she says it blew her away), but she passed the once-elusive exam with flying colors and has gone on to be quite successful in real estate.

As she says, “I have shared your book with 20 people so far because it has changed my life. To know we have the power to change our lives by simply changing our mindset is a game changer.”

This next story is particularly poignant because is demonstrates that it’s not what happens to us that determines our happiness. It’s how we choose to approach what happens to us. Thank you, Mari, for sharing this inspiring story and for running Girl Wise, a leadership program for young girls, that according to Mari is now incorporating gratitude.

Take it away, Mari:

“First of all, your books have helped me change my entire life. I started with Thank & Grow Rich last year and have just finished up E-Squared and am almost finished with E Cubed.

“You have helped me enjoy life more and play more, something I thought I lost a few years back. Just yesterday I made grocery shopping into an excellent adventure starting with blasting music on my drive there. When stopped at a stop light, a man came up beside my car and started dancing to the beat on the street and I danced with him in my care smiling and laughing with each other. Connecting with other humans is truly one of the greatest joys.

“To give a little background, I am a rising junior at Bentley University originally from upstate New York. I grew up on a farm with a close-knit family including myself, my sister, and my parents.

“I just recently read Experiment #4 in E Cubed and related more than anything and wanted to share my family’s successes due to remaining positive and faithful. This was inspired by this line from your book: “Many things at face value look like difficulties end up being miracles in disguise. The cancer that we might believe isn’t fair can be a pathway to Truth. It can be a door to potent opportunities. We get to decide.”

“Last June, my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma which in the past has had a 5% survival rate within the first year. While others not on the frequency may have cried and screamed at God, my family, a bunch of German “do-ers”, simply thought out an action plan. My dad was going to live and there was no question about it. The first step was making a treatment plan to fix the physical problem.

“At the same time, we fixed other things. We turned family dinners into important events. Instead of all coming home from work and doing our own thing, we would share our favorite SNL skits. We started watching “Grace and Frankie” together every day from 8-10.

“We started making regular dermatology check-ups, a step we all should have taken years ago. We adjusted our diets to decrease other health issues. Where I had previously been caught up in basking in the short-lived fun of college with all of my friends and sorority sisters, I was brought back to the importance of family and went home to visit my parents when I could during the year, something I never used to prioritize.

“Although my parents have always had a healthy marriage, they realized that they had been wasting so much time that they could be enjoying each other. They started walking the dog together instead of taking turns, and cooking dinner or going grocery shopping as a team instead of alternating turns.

“Now a year later, my dad quit his job of almost twenty years to live and have fun. My parents moved back to their hometown and are now constantly surrounded by friends and family taking day trips to breweries, checking out the best farm stands in the area, and spreading love and joy as much as they can.

“They have started to travel again starting with a Spring Break exploring the Southeast, and currently planning a summer trip to explore and hike the Pacific Northwest and a Thanksgiving trip to visit me in Dublin, Ireland while I am studying abroad.

“Cancer was our truth. Cancer was the life altering sign from the FP saying “What are you guys doing?! You could be having so much fun and loving others so much more!!”

“We have all shifted back to the love frequency appreciating each other, appreciating nature, and appreciating all of lives gifts from our beating heart to the ability to wiggle our toes. Life is good and love is good. I have lost the belief that bad things happen at all. I am welcoming of every gift I am about to receive and I am ready to give gifts back.

“So thank you from the core of my soul. You have enlightened me on the joys and gifts of life. You have helped me reap an abundance of treasures that I did not even know were out there.”

Thanks again, Mari, for the reminder.

“Walk without a stick into the darkest woods. Believe that the fairy tale is true.”—Cheryl Strayed

“The more you look for synchronicity, the more magical your life becomes. You are the magician that makes the grass green.”—Robert Anton Wilson222

In her book, Tiny Beautiful Things, Cheryl Strayed, posing as Dear Sugar, tells the story of hiking in New Mexico. She was alone and had been for several hours. She turned a bend and suddenly ran into another solo hiker who at that exact moment had run into yet another lone hiker. The three of them laughed, began talking and discovered that all three of them had the same birthday, in three consecutive years.

In E-Squared, I wrote about coincidence and how rather than being some weird anomaly spit out by what Dr. John Lilly called “The Cosmic Coincidence Control Center,” it’s actually evidence of the Zero Point Field to which we are all connected. I also pointed out that simply contemplating synchronicity often triggers these “Oh Wow!” events. I also asked readers who experienced “an amazing coincidence” after reading that chapter to send me an email. Just so you know, I’ve gotten dozens of stories, many including the number 222 that I mentioned in the book.

My daughter, when she was in junior high, for those who haven’t read it, had a thing about 222. She started a 222 Facebook page, her friends called her at 2:22 every day and that summer, we ended up staying in room 222 in two different hotels (one in Seattle and one in London).

I used that anecdote in the 101 Dalmatians chapter and was amazed at a) how many coincidences people sent me and b) how many included the number 222.

My daughter, who is now 19 and in college, and I were talking about her 222 fascination the other day and suddenly we started seeing 222’s everywhere, sometimes two different ones at the same time. We started texting each other every time we spotted a 222. It has become an amusing game.

So today, in honor of my incredible daughter who “coincidentally” called me when I was getting ready to post this, I’m hosting a 222 competition. For the next few days, make an intention to notice the number 222.

I will send a free autographed copy of E-Squared or one of my other books (if you can’t think of anyone you’d like to give a copy to) to whoever posts the best 222 story in the comments below.
