I was recently reminded of this story about Joan of Arc. The King of France, curious about the peasant girl’s unwavering conviction, asked why everybody doesn’t hear the voice that so clearly guided her.
She was quick to reply that the voice she hears is available to everyone. It’s just that most people don’t listen.
Listening is a priority for me. Thankfully, I haven’t gotten orders to lead a nation or to be a martyr, but I do recognize that I’ve been given a purpose. It’s nothing lofty or even that important to anyone but me. But over and over, I’m instructed that my purpose is to love the world.
Notice that’s different than trying to save the world or change the world. I’m simply guided to notice all the remarkable blessings this world offers, to say good morning to the sun, to thank it for making all this possible.
One of two of today’s Course reviews tells me “I am entrusted with the gifts of God.” So I reckon I can either ignore these gifts or I can do everything within my power to notice and celebrate their ever-flowing nature.
When I attune myself just a slight turn to the right or the left, I see, as the Course says, “only the loving and the lovable.”
So in this frenetic political season, when everyone’s promising to change and/or save the world, my mission remains the same. To love the world. To appreciate its countless gifts.
And to trust that when enough of us free our vision from the limits of the body’s eyes, anything that’s not love will be displaced with the real deal.

My understanding is that God would never leads us to kill another, but we are all free to make our own choice. It is also, in my simple understanding, impossible to help another or really change anything but ourselves.
I will stand with you in Loving the world completely even when my foolish perception gets in the way. Happy Wednesday, I find the best way to Love someone is to simply let them be who they choose to be.

I was thinking this morning after reading your perfectly wonderful thoughts, that when I see dolphins jumping out of the water it feels like they are saying “I love you world!” Living by the ocean reminds me of all the beauty that lies beneath the water .Even though I can not see it, knowing it is there keeps me in awe…

I like your reminder to ask and listen for guidance. Two-way writing is my morning foundation for that. Often in my correspondence, I am directed to ask for help throughout the day. The more I ask, the better (and easier) life gets.

Pam ..when I read your post today the thought struck me, because of your political comment, in the days of Q posts, within the MAGA movement, there was a saying that Q (whoever that was, maybe even AI) said over and over…WWG1WGA.
Or “Where We Go 1 We Go All.
That gives me hope that we are all, no matter the divisions we see with our limited human vision, wanting the same things. Just as we, collected in this forum, believe that we are 1 spirit made in the spiritual image and likeness of God, perhaps others that some of us see as not being so enlightened, or perhaps even evil (judgement will get you more ego), believe it as well. I believe that we are all closer to becoming one loving community in God than we think. Division is a cruel tool of the ego. See with your love not with your ego driven brain, and love ALL to your right and to your left…
After all, WWG1WGA….right?
Judgment definitely thrills the ego and gives it loads of ammunition. Underneath all the labels and identities, we are PURE love!!
I have actually been hearing that voice, since I started (on Pam’s recommendation),to do reading, silence and writing, every morning. The first message came to me when I asked (with a proper whine to my voice), but what am I supposed to doooooo? And I heard, YOUR BEST. And I thought, oh…and i get regular small, short, pithy answers most morniings, and I LOVE it…

You said, “..to trust WHEN enough of us free our vision from the limits.” Well, I wanna try to SPEED UP that process ;o) My love of Alan Watts writings led me to a short ‘cartoon’ by AFTER SKOOL on YT entitled, “Mass Psychosis.” As their unappointed Court Jester spokeshuman, I now don my cape, grab my whoopie cushion, and OFF I go to put the ‘kind’ back in humanKIND. Either that or I’ll at least find others like myself, who survived the tests when held ‘hostage’ in the 5th Dimension. Then OFF we escape when the rest fall away to their own vices and agendas.
