Had a great time with the penguins at 21C Hotel in Bentonville, Arkansas. Got back just in time to attend an Ugly Christmas sweater party and, of course, my Sunday power posse.
We were talking this morning about thoughts, about where they come from (does anyone really know?) and the importance of being in the present moment. Frank made the observation that when he was busy fretting about something that happened yesterday or worrying about a bill coming due tomorrow, Jesus could walk by, glowing and everything, and he’d never even notice.
I also got a kick out of a couple manifestation stories shared by members. Especially in light of the fact that we’re fast approaching the E-Cubed Selfie Challenge with, yes, lots of cool prizes. All three of these manifestations happened in airports.
I got an email the other day from a guy who was reading E-Cubed. Since the time he was 5, he loved astronauts and space flight. He always dreamed of someday meeting an astronaut. He said that while “playing” with the experiments in E-Cubed, his wife gifted him with a book by astronaut Chris Hadfield. He said he was in tears reading the book, thinking, “This guy and I could have been brothers.”
Well, guess who he meets a few days later at the airport?
The one and only…..Commander Chris Hadfield.
Mary Kay, from the posse, was in the Minneapolis airport yesterday and not only did the song, “Tears of a Clown” come to her mind, a song with a special memory, but she bumped into Smokey Robinson who she’d always loved and wanted to meet. He even gave her a big hug.
The last airport/manifestation story, shared by Cindy from the posse, revolved around a friend who was joking that he’d like to meet a porn star.
Only half serious (or maybe not), he just “happens” to sit next to one on the plane, one that even showed him her website.
The point is this: Your thoughts are a form of energy, broadcasting your dreams and desires out into the universe.
Might as well pay attention, be in the now moment and take it all in.

but I’m confused…how does expecting and visualizing your desire contradict being in the present? or am I not seeing this clearly? lol

Great question. When I’m in the present moment, I’m available to everything and everything’s available to me. So that’s where all the good stuff happens. Instead of expecting or even visualizing, you simply “let it be.” It’s truly powerful. Even if admittedly, a bit confusing. Thanks for asking, Pam
I just finished E-Cubed, and you make yourself seem so accessible that I decided to tell you this story. It’s inspired by the nail story you tell in E-squared.
I was listening to a teacher talk about “bungeeing” down off a high-level buzz now and then, but how we let our bungee get all stretched out by holding ourselves on a downer most of the time. I was thinking about the analogy as I went to sleep. I woke up in the morning with a bungee cord in my bed.

Whoa! That’s a powerful story! My friend Jay calls them “Sneaky Jesus” moments. Whatever you call them, it’s good to be reminded that reality is so much bigger than we think.
Speaking of airports, the way I was introduced to you and E2, was happening upon Law Of Attraction Magazine in Ft. Lauderdale airport. I read the entire magazine, and was especially interested in your article. Meanwhile, we (my daughter and I) had a snag in our connection schedule, and it really looked like we were going to miss our last flight home to Durango. EVERYTHING was pointing toward “it ain’t happening!”, but I was visualizing being back home with hubby and puppy, and being sure that despite the evidence and the “reality” of the situation, somehow we were getting on that flight. But I also knew that even if it did not work out just as I wanted it to, all would be well, maybe even better. We got off the plane in Denver two minutes after our last flight was to take off, and the gate agent even told us that “Durango already took off”. We still headed to the Durango gate to find out what flight we could get on, when someone called to us, “Going to Durango? It’s still here, you can make it.”. Turns out it was delayed for de-icing. I am pretty sure it was delayed just for us, since I had put a lot of energy into it, while also relaxing into the great “whatever”.
I was absolutely thrilled and elated – even better than everything having gone perfectly smoothly – since it gave me “proof” that I could create my reality despite signs otherwise.
I promptly bought E2 the next day, and have been following you ever since.

I attended an inspiring leaders forum where the CEO of our Health Care Org spoke and I was really impressed. So much so I wrote my blog about the importance of core values and included his comments. A few days later I was attending a workshop and guess who came and sat next to me – yes the CEO ! I told him he had made my blog this week and he asked me to send it to him which I did. Talk about smiling on the inside for the next week ! Its amazing I now expect, unexpected blessings and know my best future is so close its manifestation is about to appear.

A few days ago the news was really depressing to me. After an amazing E Squared verification of my own just a few days before involving the Universe sending me mittens, I mentioned to a friend how even though I love the mittens and their magical appearance, my apparent helplessness in the face of the big stuff is still overwhelming.
I said, sure the Universe can send me mittens and my hands are warm but my friends are still fighting huge multinational corporations who are turning their ancestral lands into horrible blackened moonscapes with tar sands mining and clearcuts for pipelines. Why won’t the Universe stop the bad guys that are destroying everything?
So like three or four days pass and just now I saw an article one of those friends just shared. It basically says oil prices are crashing, likely to stay low for long enough to disrupt the profits of the corporations my friends are fighting.
Yay Universe! 🙂 Lost profits can accomplish in one year what 20 years of protests have yet to achieve. (Tar sands oil and fracked gas are both more expensive in energy used to mine than they produce in energy to use, so they are no good except as a government subsidized profit stream for multinationals. So when profits fall low enough they become unviable investments. )

Can you all imagine how amazing and wonderful things will be when more people are doing this?
How many of us have wished we could help others in bad situations far away (or nearby)?
What if trillions of dollars of American bombs and soldiers are not needed to stop ISIL, and help the people suffering in all these wars? What if our love and compassion, and the Universe abundant nature are enough?
What if (insert your own most worried about seemingly intractable problems here)?
What if this is the Christmas when everyone wishes for Peace on Earth – and it really happens?
What an inspiring story and proof positive that the universe can figure things out much better (it has so many more resources) than we can. Actually, we have all the same resources, but we limit them with our mental constructs and tiny boxes of reality that pale in comparison to all that’s out there. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Pam, One can have a manifestation even if not actively in an experiment. In August my boyfriend and I went on a cruise to transition me to my daughters both away in college. It happened to be our 11 year anniversary. The night before the official day there was an 80s party on the back deck of the ship with a huge screen showing videos from that time. In the crowd my boyfriend a stagehand who worked with him 2 weeks before in Connecticut spotted Joe Elliott lead singer of Def Leppard. Their show was 11 years previous our first date. Cool stuff!!
