“To live in victimhood is to live like a beggar.”—Byron Katie

What a relief….
…to learn that my happiness comes solely from me.
What a relief…
…to learn I can question my thoughts…
…to know I don’t have to believe them…
…or give them my precious energy.
What a relief…
…to know that while my thoughts are never going to stop, I have no responsibility to take them seriously…
…Or invite them in for tea.
What a relief…
…to recognize that my thoughts are mostly conditioned patterns…
…and that if I continue to shovel coal upon them, they will cost me my life and precious energy.
What a relief….
…to know life, real life, is the exact opposite of the life my thoughts blab on about
…and that it’s safe to take my attention off my thoughts and just be.

AMEN…Thank you for the reminder
My pleasure!
As always I open your emails when they come through first thing in the morning and as always, your profound words land precisely in their perfect place.
My takeaway is this:
There is NEVER anything bad, painful, suffering, traumatic, problematic, hurtful or just negative in anyway ever…..it’s just how we perceive things and what we ourselves, make of it.
Happiness is always there! It is our birthright!
So today I continue to practice aligning with the truth and reality of my experience!
PURE LOVE
PURE JOY
PURE LIGHT
That is all there is ❤️🌻
Thanks Pam 🙏 xx
I love the fact that nothing can ever hurt our real self.
LOVE this — thank you Pam❤️
Thank YOU!!
Yes indeed, what a relief!!
Thank you Pam! 🙏🤗
May we all have the best day today 🎉And tomorrow, and every day, always. Amen!
😁🐕🐩🐶😘
I’m so happy to have you aboard this ongoing love train, Jenny Louise!!
A timely reminder. Thank you!
These kinds of reminders are always timely for me.
Hilarious!
Love the dog calendar. Yea – why can’t this be the “best day of my life?”
Why do I let my mind and unrestrained thoughts run the show?
I certainly don’t need to sit down with them for tea and cookies. More like take them out with the trash.
Reminds me of that old Rolaids commercial – OH what a relief it is!
Wow – mind blowing with your simplicity – par usual.
Thank you Pam!
Hugs!
Hugs back! And, yes, it is hilarious the crazy thoughts that float through our minds sometimes.
I’ve done Byron Katie’s ‘The Work’ for so long and often, I was having trouble being upset with politics. So I did The Work on my thoughts of “I should be upset,” and reviewed a few chapters in ACIM. Nice to be free again!! I do love your books!! Thank you.
What a great one-thought-at-a-time for the work. Will always bow to the wisdom and grace of Byron Katie.
Love you Pam … your writing always makes me smile … you are always spot on! 😂
Your comment makes me smile! Thanks!!
Groutski!
❤️
And that is all.
Here’s to all my Canadian friends who I love and support unconditionally forever!
Nice, Pam! I love Byron Katie. I wish everyone knew about The Work and did it, starting, at times, with me.
Yes, as she recommends a worksheet a day!
I love this! And I love dogs! The dog calendar hits home. Great reminder! Thanks Pam! 💕
If only we could see ourselves as our dogs see us–not sure where I heard that, but it’s true. They’re always wagging their tails.
Love it! And that calendar is FIRE!
xox
FIRE!!!!! Love that expression–may have to borrow it!

Thank you ❤️
You’re so very welcome!

Love is just so much more fun, right!!
Yes, so true! Thanks for the reminder.
As I always say, I’m reminding myself.
I love you, Pam!
And I love you, Sheila!
Thank you for the wonderful reminder. Grateful to you, Pam, for all you give to the world.
It is in giving that we find our joy–or at least that’s true for me!
Hi Pam,
I’ve been meaning to share this with you for years now. I love your work and over 3 years ago now I ended up getting pregnant by, what we would call in this reality, “accident”. I was already over 40 and no actual partner in the picture and I had always wanted children. But I also grew up very religious and so getting pregnant without being married was something I wasn’t sure how I was going to break to my family. I was excited though and when I found out my due date, I knew this was a gift from the universe. My due date was 2/2/22. It makes me cry even now thinking of it. He didn’t end up coming on 2/2/22 which I was sad about but ended up coming on an even better day, 2/14, Valentine’s Day. He is my little forever Valentine from the Universe. He’s turning 3 this year and I’m beyond grateful to the Universe for these special synchronicities that make this life so special and fun. Thank you for your blog posts. I look forward to the reminders of this incredible Universe.
This grateful momma,
Melissa
That’s so beautiful, Melissa! I love your little Valentine already. And I can relate, as a fellow single mom, to getting an unexpected gift (my best ever) from the universe!!!
Indeed it is a relief! And, I love how you say SO MUCH in this post with relatively few words, Pam. You rock!
I know, right? We use lots of words to say so very little!
I like relief. Thank you for the reminder on how to have relief.
Better than alka-seltzer!!! Plop plop!
