What a relief!!

“To live in victimhood is to live like a beggar.”—Byron Katie

What a relief….

…to learn that my happiness comes solely from me.

What a relief…

…to learn I can question my thoughts…

…to know I don’t have to believe them…

…or give them my precious energy.

What a relief…

…to know that while my thoughts are never going to stop, I have no responsibility to take them seriously…

…Or invite them in for tea.

What a relief…

…to recognize that my thoughts are mostly conditioned patterns…

…and that if I continue to shovel coal upon them, they will cost me my life and precious energy.

What a relief….

…to know life, real life, is the exact opposite of the life my thoughts blab on about

…and that it’s safe to take my attention off my thoughts and just be.

  1. As always I open your emails when they come through first thing in the morning and as always, your profound words land precisely in their perfect place.

    My takeaway is this:

There is NEVER anything bad, painful, suffering, traumatic, problematic, hurtful or just negative in anyway ever…..it’s just how we perceive things and what we ourselves, make of it.
Happiness is always there! It is our birthright!
So today I continue to practice aligning with the truth and reality of my experience!

    PURE LOVE
    PURE JOY
    PURE LIGHT

That is all there is ❤️🌻

    Thanks Pam 🙏 xx

  2. Yes indeed, what a relief!!
    Thank you Pam! 🙏🤗
May we all have the best day today 🎉And tomorrow, and every day, always. Amen!
    😁🐕🐩🐶😘

  3. Hilarious!

Love the dog calendar. Yea – why can’t this be the “best day of my life?”

Why do I let my mind and unrestrained thoughts run the show?

I certainly don’t need to sit down with them for tea and cookies. More like take them out with the trash.

Reminds me of that old Rolaids commercial – OH what a relief it is!

Wow – mind blowing with your simplicity – par usual.

    Thank you Pam!

    Hugs!

  4. I’ve done Byron Katie’s ‘The Work’ for so long and often, I was having trouble being upset with politics. So I did The Work on my thoughts of “I should be upset,” and reviewed a few chapters in ACIM. Nice to be free again!! I do love your books!! Thank you.

  5. Hi Pam,

I’ve been meaning to share this with you for years now. I love your work and over 3 years ago now I ended up getting pregnant by, what we would call in this reality, “accident”. I was already over 40 and no actual partner in the picture and I had always wanted children. But I also grew up very religious and so getting pregnant without being married was something I wasn’t sure how I was going to break to my family. I was excited though and when I found out my due date, I knew this was a gift from the universe. My due date was 2/2/22. It makes me cry even now thinking of it. He didn’t end up coming on 2/2/22 which I was sad about but ended up coming on an even better day, 2/14, Valentine’s Day. He is my little forever Valentine from the Universe. He’s turning 3 this year and I’m beyond grateful to the Universe for these special synchronicities that make this life so special and fun. Thank you for your blog posts. I look forward to the reminders of this incredible Universe.

    This grateful momma,

    Melissa

    1. That’s so beautiful, Melissa! I love your little Valentine already. And I can relate, as a fellow single mom, to getting an unexpected gift (my best ever) from the universe!!!

  6. Indeed it is a relief! And, I love how you say SO MUCH in this post with relatively few words, Pam. You rock!
