You can’t touch this

“Creativity flows from a Source so deep within you that no language or dogma can contain it. It’s a force that will express itself though you in such a way that serves the awakening of all creation.” — Way of Mastery

Happy Wednesday, my fine-feather friends in fun, frivolity and fabulousity. (Did I just invent that word?)

I want you to know that I am not being coy or trying to build suspense about the practice I’ve been opining about, the practice with which so many of you have agreed to experiment.

I will share the super easy steps on Friday. I just talked with the guy who introduced me to this practice, so I’ve now got the guidelines straight from the historian’s mouth. I say historian because it’s a practice that was first introduced nearly a century ago.

I personally love it because, after six months or so of using it, I have deepened my relationship with the living spirit the Course in Miracles promises. My practice, which had grown crusty and stale, has been enlivened in a whole new way. In fact, today’s ACIM lesson, about light and joy and peace abiding in me, seems like the truest statement in the world.  That lesson also says that, despite how it sometimes looks to the naked eye, nothing can touch or change this eternal bond, thus the headline for today’s post.

So for now, while gussying up the easy instructions for the experiment, I thought I’d fall back on one of my old standards—sharing a couple miracle stories. Eventually, of course, we’ll figure out that what we call miraculous is nothing more than the universe saying, “Psst! Over here.”

1. The first is from a reader (actually she called herself a re-reader) who, while doing one of the experiments in E-Squared, made the intention to manifest something out of thin air. She didn’t specify what, decided to leave that up to the universe.

Later that day, a Bengals baseball cap showed up in her yard. At first, she assumed it had blown off a neighbor’s head or fallen out of a passing car. But in closer examination, she realized it was a brand-new cap with stickers, labels and the price tag still on it. Her son, a die-hard Bengals fan, remarked, “Well, if nobody comes for it after a day, maybe we should just, you know, hang on to it?” Well, guess who is now wearing a brand-new baseball cap.

2. The second was from a reader who had lost her grandmother’s emerald ring. She was reading E-Cubed that suggested asking the universe to prove it was working in concert with her intentions. So she said, “Alright universe, remember that emerald ring I lost two years ago, the one I inherited from my grandma? Well, I really miss that ring and I’d love you to bring it back to me.”

She went out of town for work for a week and when she returned to her apartment in New York City, the ring–the very ring that had gone missing—was sitting square center on her welcome mat.

So folks, like the Course in Miracles tells us, we can turn our minds back to full creation at any minute. The burdens we’ve placed in our minds, the burdens that block the awareness of our unassailable light, are made of dust, ready to be gently blown away.

  1. I struggle to keep the faith, so to speak. Most individuals that I have attempted to converse with about this topic look at me like I am not quite all there. Or call it wishful thinking (one of my former husbands). I feel stuck and have used Wayne Dyer’s books and recordings and then yours to guide me, and still, I get lost on the path. I asked to see only a single goose this past fall, and unfortunately, I did, then worried if it was okay, as they need each other to travel long distances. You are so appreciated and an inspiration. What was the point/lesson in having your most important person’s life end? I have found that very difficult to comprehend. The why. I think of you often and always wish you well. Thanks

  2. I often feel so lost, and go through periods when I just can’t seem to feel this is real. My former husband scoffed and called it magical thinking, so I tend to keep it to myself. I struggle to believe though I am almost certain it is true. You are appreciated and loved, and I am grateful that you exist and share your message.

  3. “Nothing is ever lost in the Kingdom of God”. It’s only our human self who thinks that something is lost. As we tap more into our divine self, all these things happen naturally.

Love these stories, Pam. They are a good reminder of who we truly are <3

  4. Hi Pam! Have you seen the beautiful Finnish series The Man Who Died? I just know you’d love it.
He has a little hedgehog friend who appears from time to time. Moreover, it’s a tale about appreciating the beauty of all life. And, despite the somber title, it is often funny and always human.
Can’t wait for the 30 day experiment!

  5. Thank you for sharing and being who you are. Love reading your posts. Looking forward to being a part of the experiment!!

  6. Soooo grateful that you share with us all……thank you very much……🥸🏡❤️🐶😁🤪

  7. Thank you
I believe the covid years took us all for a nose dive.
I am very happy to begin again.

  8. Very excited for Friday news….but also thank you for today’s awesome shares!
Always show up at the perfect moment.
    Love, Kate

  9. Always a pleasure to read your emails. Wonderful stories that remind me to do the same. Keep those coming and look forward to Fridays announcements.

  10. I love that my brain is so hardwired (apparently) to doubt what appears to be impossible that I automatically question the validity of these ‘miracle’ stories! I’m laughing at myself as I start thinking of logical ways that the emerald ring could have been placed on the welcome mat: a friend who had ‘borrowed it’ returned it and left it there for example. 😄 It’s amazing (and frustrating and even hilarious) that we are so programmed to doubt the miraculous; to disbelieve what appears unbelievable so that even when our own eyes witness a ‘miracle’ we can still talk ourselves out of it. But isn’t life itself miraculous? And why is an emerald ring magically appearing on a welcome mat any more miraculous than the fact we don’t fall off a planet that is spinning madly around the sun, that caterpillars transform themselves into beautiful butterflies, that our bodies know how to heal a scraped knee? So, thank you Pam for sharing these fabulous miracle stories and for reminding us that we are all always connected to the power and love that is the Living Spirit of The Universe, and that if we just open our hearts and minds to the infinite we will recognise that the miraculous is always here, always available and only a thought or change of perspective away. Yes! Woohoo! (Oh and I love your invented word – fabulousity! It’s fabulous! 😁 And I love the title of this post – and even though I haven’t yet listened to the clip you’ve shared I’ve had the chorus of the song going on repeat in my mind as I’ve been writing. Heehee. What a great way to remind us that nothing can touch the connection to spirit that we all have. Thank you!) Much love and joy and delight to you from me 😍💃🙏🦋🌏🤗
PS my responses to your posts are often my way of processing what you’ve shared and helping myself understand the concepts more fully or talking myself through my reactions etc. So that’s why sometimes they’re so long! So please excuse me for kind of ‘journaling’ in this space. 😄🤭😉🥰

    1. Just so you know you’re not alone, Jenny Louise, I too had a “lips-pursed, raised eyebrow” reaction to the emerald ring story, even though I KNOW miracles are real (and that, really, EVERYTHING is a miracle). I, too, searched for “an explanation” for the event, and I also had the same “why’d I think/feel that” question to my reaction. I’m pretty sure that it’s attributable to years (and years!) of programming, and I feel grateful to be on the cutting edge of exploring what’s beyond that limiting belief. I don’t know about you, but it sure feels like evolution to me! 🙂

      1. Thank you for your supportive reply Mia 😊 It’s always nice to know that we’re not alone in our responses, thoughts or feelings. 🥰 Yes I think it’s definitely years and years of programming that makes us doubt in the miraculous or “unbelievable”. And I also agree that what we’re all a part of here – the dismantling of that old programming and opening to the ‘miraculous’ truth that is beyond our limiting beliefs – is evolution of the very best kind. I’m very excited to be a part of this ‘movement’ and I can’t wait for Pam’s 30 day experiment to begin! ‘See’ you there 😁💃🦋

  13. Can I join Friday’s experiement too. I always ask the angels when I lose things. Sometimes they show up almost immediately, other times when I least expect it. It never fails to delight me.

  14. Querida Pam. Gracias Pam. Un abrazo desde Colombia.

  15. Dear dearer dearest Pam! You shine the Faboulousity to the world, within the world and with the world 😍😍😍

With pure Love, Teija and Pelonteet 🦋💜🦋

  16. I was delighted with your title of this post. I have adopted MC Hammer’s “Can’t Touch This!” as my theme song for what I feel like when I am in the Flow of the Universe. Last year I thought I would learn the dance, but it turns out MC has mad dancing skills! Maybe someday, but in the meantime, it’s still my theme song!
