“Gratitude is thinking in tune with the cosmic intelligence. It can change more than a mood; it can change a world.” — Brother David Steindl-Rast
Happy Friday, my brilliant amigos. I’m just back from Oaxaca and wanted to post a couple thoughts.
On the flight to Mexico, I happened to catch the movie, Book Club, the Next Chapter, with Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Mary Steenburgen and Candace Bergen.
Although their current book club read was NOT E-Squared, it sure could have been.
The whole plot revolved around following “the signs” which started by leading them on an exhilarating adventure to Italy. One of them even said, “Ignoring the signs is what ruins a life.”
It’s like I always say, the universe constantly attempts to get our attention, constantly tries to bless us, guide us, interact with us.
All we have to do is make space for it to get through. Nothing could be more important to living a fulfilling life than leaving room for ‘the Dude’ to make contact.
For me, it’s often as simple as stopping to take five deep breaths. Or laying on the ground in my backyard. Or simply pausing to notice the incomprehensible presence that transcends my feeble understanding.
Otherwise, we get swept up in somebody’s else’s vision or rules or ideas about the world.
And when we focus our energy on the news (the “olds” is my preferred moniker) or the job we feel stuck in or ‘the look’ someone gave us at the traffic light, there’s NO room left for what else could be possible.
I’ll end with this recent quote from my beautiful comrade Lisa Natoli:
“If your awareness is on the body, pain, symptoms, stories excuses, problems, difficulties… that is resistance and blocks the light from flowing. This light is pure intelligence and creative power. Turn your attention/Awareness to the light of you, to how strong you are, how powerful. You are a creative being of pure light.”
Okay you pure beings of light, let’s all turn our attention away from the past and make room for the Dude, the signs, the whatever-you-like-to-call-it and trust it to lead us on an adventurous and meaningful weekend.

Thank you, Pam, for another wonderful post—truly, and deeply, appreciated. I really enjoyed the quote from Lisa Natoli, and your first video post was absolutely amazing. In the spirit of your post, I Am grateful for you! 🙏🧡🙂
As I am for you. I did the video several years ago, but it seemed appropos for this post so thought I’d repost. Sending gratitude!!
Thank you for reminding me of the light.
You are more than welcome!
As always, your timing is impeccable.
I love how the dude does that.
Great post Pam. I love all your books and I am really trying so hard to make a true lasting connection to the FP. Occasionally I feel like I get some results for which I’m truly grateful but my life is a struggle at times Any tips on how I can make that lasting connection with love and thanks 🙏🏻 Bev xxx
Just keep looking for the signs and focusing on all that’s going right. When we live in possibility state (vs. problem state), miracles show up. We’re the wizards, creating it all.
just amazing, thank you!
Amazing, amazing!

Thank you Pam, you beautiful being of joyful light! Thank you for shining your unique light into our wonderful world and for reminding us that we are all beautiful beings of brilliant light, even if we’re currently hiding that light under thoughts of fear, lack, separation etc. Here’s to each of us remembering our own light and to shining it with joyful exuberance so that we can all see and feel the magnificence of the united light of the world. Amen! 😁
🥳⭐️☀️🌝🥳
Amen and hallelujah! Your words always inspire!!!
Yay! Thank you Pam! 🥳🙏😘

Grateful indeed!
Right ON
Love it, thanks Pam! Just read in one of my daily readers, “Just for today I will look for ways to enjoy life… maybe just for today, I’ll try standing on my head to see if I like the view.” !
Love that idea!!!
Faaaantastic! But don’t forget that God is behind the whole created world… Not even the best genius of the world can be compared to him.
Faaanzastic! However, don’t forget Pam that God is behind the whole created world. Not even the best-known genius of the world can be compared to him!
Love the skirt! Great message too. Thanks for sharing.
Fun first video! ❤️
Thank you for the lovely video dear Pam – a wonderful reminder when my mind is (once again) busy digesting the daily news, political unrests, dodgy politics, the climate etc. etc etc…… 😯P.S. you look lovely in the video, fresh and bubbly like spring water 💖
Much love to you, Pam!! ♥️🌸♥️
