Impossible? What’s impossible?

“You will be bound until all the world is seen by you as blessed.”—A Course in Miracles

Happy Monday, my friends!  I’m down in Mexico, loving the weather, the mountains and all the beautiful souls who live here in Ajijic.

Every morning at 9 a.m., I head to Jimmy Twyman’s Namaste community for the morning message and to get a bunch of hugs.

Today, Jimmy challenged each of us to do something “impossible.” The example he shared was his own belief—up until yesterday—that he, a talented musician, couldn’t write a song in Spanish.

Rather than continue on with that belief, he decided to challenge it. He not only wrote a song (in perfect Espanol), but he produced a video (complete with graphics) that he shared with us this morning.

Another “impossible” story came from my dear brother Rod who I met three years ago when I first came to Namaste. He’s 80 now, but when he was 65, soon after retiring from his demanding career as a construction supervisor, his body more or less gave out. He had tremendous back pain, neck pain and could barely get out of bed. Doctor after doctor couldn’t help.  Like all of us, he was given the cultural programming about “old age.”

But since he had a much younger girlfriend at the time, he decided that being infirm wasn’t going to cut it for him. He met a guy selling a tonic called “Longevity” that supposedly would keep old age at bay. Rod bought a bottle, began to feel better and bought another bottle.

Within a couple weeks, he was back to his old self. As he says today, it wasn’t so much the tonic that “cured” him, but his belief changed. It was no longer “impossible” that he could be as fit as he ever was. And today, 15 years later, he’s hale, hearty, passionate about life and one of the most loving humans I have ever met.

I also want to let you know that my website is being re-designed this week (one of the many blessings I’ve received over the past few months) so it will likely be unavailable for a few days.  So if you can’t access it, that’s why.

And I’ll leave you with this question:  What “impossible” belief are you willing to let go of today? #222 Forever

      Perfect timing Pam!!
I have been on a dating app lately and it is soooooo demoralizing. I am so much more than a description and a couple of pics. This is has been a good experience to learn to love myself more.🙏😉✌
      Thank you!!!

  1. Thank you Pam for always providing the uplift and a challenge!

  2. Thank you for another wonderful post to remind us that there is no impossible. I let go and forgive many times throughout my day. My Inner Child and I are laughing frequently. I’m happy that you are reminding others to let go of impossible beliefs. Virtual hug to you, dear friend. So happy you are getting a bunch of hugs each day.

    1. I forgot. I did have a miracle earlier today. Yesterday, my husband said we needed more brown caulking. The price of the brown caulking was double what we had paid before at the same place we bought it before. The best price I could get was at Home Depot and it would be 6 weeks before delivery. I googled brown caulking and found a company I had never heard of before in New Jersey and ordered 24 tubes of caulking. Then, late last night, I sent them an email and asked for 36. This morning, I received a call and was told that I would get the 36 tubes by UPS in 3-5 business days with no difference in shipping costs.

I really do have miracles daily. There’s just so many, I forget.

  3. The placebo of the “Longetivity” tonic is another powerful example of how our beliefs absolutely create our own personal reality.
I’ve always been a bit fascinated with how the placebo response in scientific research studies and experiments have had the tendency to be trivialized and easily dismissed.
What if….. (and we know it is) all that matters? Impossible?
    No such thing……😊

  4. Hi Pam,

Thanks for sharing photos of the meditation spot in Ajijic.

I hope you get this email, rather than its being routed to secondary and tertiary contacts. I feel it’s important that you and the founder Jimmy be aware of the following.

I am wondering if you are aware of the significance of the photo of the statue here represented. It is a chacmool. Where the flat part is usually “housed” a bowl. This statue and bowl collected the internal organs and blood of slain warriors.

It also could be used for offerings to the Gods:

Maybe in your viewpoint, this is unimportant. However, I thought the significance of import, and wonder if you or the creator of the resort are aware of its “ulterior” significance. There seems to be an inconsistency/disconnect in representation(s).

    Just saying…..

    1. Thanks, CoCo, for the information. The statue is NOT at the Namaste community. It is a Mayan statue on the Malecon along the lake. I snapped it yesterday on a walk.

  5. I always look forward to your posts and I have really enjoyed your books. Thank you for mentioning the Namaste community in Ajijic. I’ve spent time in Guanajuato and have always wanted to go to Ajijic. Have now looked up the details of the community and it’s definitely on my radar. It looks wonderful! ❤️

  6. This feels scary but exciting! I’m going to let go of the belief that it is impossible for me to retire, financially independent by the end of August this year, even though I have no savings and very little superannuation. Impossible right??! Well, if all things are possible then this must be possible too! So I’m going to declare it and believe it every day. Yay! I can’t wait to share the story with you all in September 21 of how my retirement came to pass. 😁💃⭐️🐢💛
Thanks, as always Pam, for your inspiring and encouraging posts. Best wishes for your stay in Ajijic- it sure looks and sounds like a lovely spot. 🌺🌳🌴🌞

    1. Scary and exciting is the best route to fly. I, too, look forward to September 21 when we’ll hear your miracle story. Except it won’t take a miracle–it’s just truth.

      1. Thanks Pam! I like that – it won’t be a miracle story because it’s simply the truth. Amen! 😁🐢💃

  7. Pam;

This is what I call synchronsity. I’ve been thinking about you because I’m starting another E-Squared class tomorrow for my spiritual center. I haven’t taught it in a few years and I am looking forward to it.

It’s interesting that you’re presently in Ajijic. I have friends who lived there years ago and my husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit that beautiful area. Thanks for this timely email.

Sending virtual hugs and a lot of love from East LaHave, Nova Scotia!!
