Bumping into other dimensions

“Forgiveness is man’s deepest need and highest achievement.”—Horace Bushnell

Good morning, sports fans. I trust you’re staying toasty, cozy and celebrating the fact that much-needed moisture is falling free of charge from the sky. Talk about a miracle!

Today’s Course in Miracles lesson, for those following along, brings up the F word. Forgiveness. As I often say, this life-changing concept is widely misunderstood.

It doesn’t mean overlooking something “bad” that happens. It’s admitting I don’t know enough to really judge what’s good or bad. And knowing that when I forgive (which means knowing nobody has the power to hurt me) I undo what fear has produced. Like magic, it causes illusions to disappear.

And when illusions start disappearing (I thought about calling this post—Pop Goes the Illusion!), you start bumping into other dimensions. Like things suddenly appear out of nowhere.

In E-Squared I compare consciousness to a skyscraper. I may be living on the second floor, but the miracle (the love, the peace, the truth) is waiting for me on Floor 17. Once I define something (or refuse to “forgive it”), I no longer question it. It becomes my reality. In quantum speak, it collapses the wave, leaving no room for mystery, wonder and new discoveries. Despite popular opinion, the phenomenon we observe with our five senses comes AFTER the decision to see, experience and feel it.

I was reminded of this yesterday during my weekly possibility posse. Jay mentioned a missing phone charger that suddenly showed up in the middle of a couch they’d searched countless times. Cindy’s favorite earring returned to the jewelry box she’d scoured for weeks. It reminded me of the hiker with a runny nose. She desperately needed a tissue, but she was miles away from civilization in an old growth rainforest. She looked down and there, underneath a tree, was an unopened box of Kleenex. The more we forgive, the more other dimensions can get through.

I love these kinds of stories because they demonstrate that whatever we need is always available. That’s a radical departure from what we’re taught. The one and only thing that keeps miracles at bay are my judgments (again, lack of forgiveness) and game day analysis. Miracles are common as pie when we open to life’s multi-dimensional nature.

Thanks, my friends, for taking this journey of possibility with me. I hereby announce that all of us are open and ready for dimensions of every kind, that we’re moving on up to higher floors where miracles are more real than the material world of phenomenon.

In exactly, one week, I’ll be announcing Taz’s 222 Foundation awards.  Stay tuned. Stay warm. And stay open. #222 Forever

  1. Thank you Pam!

A quick note that I’ve been meaning to share forever.
Repeating 2’s have been a constant part of my life for more than 6 years now. When they appear, and they do often when my life has a particular vexing question or event that I’m unsure of – poof, 222 shows up to remind me that I’m on the right path.
So of course when you named Taz’s foundation, it made perfect sense to me.
Thank you for being you and always seeing the possibilities. My best to you always.

  4. The timing and message of this post is particularly miraculous for me today Pam, because yesterday I “lost” my glasses. I won’t reaffirm what I believe happened: instead I will forgive myself, let go of what I think must have happened, and await the miracle of their reappearance, just like the “lost” phone charger and earring. I have been beating myself up for what I believe I did that caused me to lose my glasses, so your post is reminding me to forgive myself, to let go of that reality and to open myself up to a completely different reality where my glasses aren’t missing after all. Amen! Thankyou Pam, (and thankyou Universe for sending me this message today through your delightful messenger Pam Grout.) 😁
Much love and many blessings to you dear Pam. 💖🦋🌷💗

  5. Dear Pam, As usual my deep thanks for all that you share to uplift me.
Please can you tell me which of your books or articles explains how your possibility posse runs? I would like to understand enough to run one.
    Thank you and much love

  6. Dear Pam, I wake up every morning looking forward to the daily ACIM lesson. This is the fourth time for me, and this time it is so much more meaningful and fun. I read both versions every morning.
I love your app. It’s very user friendly and so is your support tech! I reached out for something and all was taken care of. The auto reminders are great! Thank you so much. You have touched my life in such a positive way. I’ve turned my friends on to your E= books and many others. Thank you for being you!

  7. Hi Ruth Hope you’re well today. I think mentioned Pam Grout the other day when we spoke. Here is her latest post which I thought I’d forward to you. As I said, I enjoy her approach to life and spirituality and I love her books. Hope to talk soon. Love Jane xxx

  8. Miracles abound!!!! I am not saying it is because of a direct result of your awesome app (or maybe I am) but miracles have been flowing lately at an incredible rate!!! I started in December (when you posted it the first time) and I LOVE IT. My house sold on the 28th of December, found my dream home the first week in Jan and moving in this weekend!!!! I consider each of these a miracle! My house was in the market for 6 months, my dream home is in a different city – it found me, moving in before everything is registered is well…. a miracle in itself!! And what did I do? I just followed the daily directions in the course!
There was one day when I thought everything may fall apart and that day your statement was – Fear is a nothing burger!!! And I repeated it all throughout the day laughing at how silly the statement actually is! But wouldn’t you know it, it all came together and is continuing to do so!
Today I’m letting my ex off the hook for all his stupidness that has led me to all of this! And why not…. if i wasn’t so down in the dumps I would’ve never clicked on the app and I may even never have followed through on all of this. I’m laying that sucker down and blessing him with all the love that I have been created with!!!
Thank you for following your inspiration to create the app! And thank you for your always timely posts!!!

  9. Thank you, Pam. Your books and your “blogs” have literally improved my life in a very large way.

  10. This is a great post Pam. Thank you. I’ve been working deeply with the Course for a number of years now and yes, what an amazing gift it truly is. You get to the deeper meaning of the “F Word” in this post and I just love it!

  11. I haven’t commented for awhile, but today’s post confirmed so many happenings I have experienced. I believe the Kleenex box appeared, I have experienced these issues many times. It comes from nowhere, just when you need it! It feels so good to read your posts and I enjoy them so much. Confirmation feels good and gives one assurance it wasn’t just a coincidence. Thank you, Pam, for giving of yourself, and sharing such wisdom as you do. I have never met you, but I have read most of your books, and re-read them. Much affection to you!
