Recognizing the holiness in all things

“I wandered everywhere, through cities and countries wide. And everywhere I went, the world was on my side.”—Roman Payne blessings

As I see it, my work (although I prefer to think of it as my playground) is to spread the word that the world is on our side.

In fact, ACIM Lesson 58 encourages me (and everyone else who is following along) to step up and claim our blessings. Most of us, because of illusions we manufactured in our heads, don’t.

This lesson even tells us (and I’m paraphrasing) that fear is a nothing burger.

So, today, since I’m getting around to posting later than normal, I’m going to share a couple inbox stories from readers who gave up fear and, by golly, claimed their blessings.

1. E-squared changed my life completely. I remember when I first read it I was unemployed (blah blah) and then it shifted everything. A year later I was a lecturer at a university ( I even emailed you before my first lecture being so scared on how I would speak in public, in students…), meeting amazing students who every year nominate me for the lecturer of the year award, teaching about the subject I love the most (the Sun) and now I am even working with Cambridge University, travelling all over UK to inspire hundreds of young kids to study physics (mainly the Sun, ha)!

I mean Cambridge from being out of the academia for some time, from being actually the “black sheep” of academia, and being unemployed and suddenly Cambridge! Ok that I could have never seen coming 🙂

2. Here are the gifts I received while manifesting during E2. Immediately, I got outta a speeding ticket, my frozen flowers started blooming after laser love. Plus, I focused on getting $5K for things and after 2 months I received a check for $7200

3. I wanted to send off my thank you and share this brief story as it surely exceeded my expectations for what this exercise could bring.

I read the chapter and even formally copied the worksheet to my iPad for working the process. I filled out the form setting date and time and was ready for the FP to demonstrate itself in clear form. I watched over the next couple days as amazing things happened:

– I received a large bonus of over $10k!
– A bathtub drain that endlessly frustrates me with its slow draining drained perfectly throughout my shower on the next morning (it has since gone back to usual!).
– I went to a folk concert and because the last band playing was a guest in our AirBnb the last song was dedicated to my wife and I!!! (And they were so incredible)

It’s me again.

I’ve posted this song before, but it bears listening to, well, maybe every day.

It was written by an amazing musician named Claudia Carawan. She is the music director at Unity Bon Air in Richmond, Virginia. When I spoke there, she played this song that, while she didn’t write for me, could easily be my theme song. Enjoy!

  1. I’ve got a good one! Last fall, I reserved my spot with a tour group going overseas this spring. In January, I went to India for work, and we had a lot of internal (city/city) flying in country (this is relevant in a minute). The airfare for the spring tour group was not included in the tour package. I had to make my air reservations about a month ago in order to secure my travel visas. The cost of air was exorbitant since we were arriving in one country, touring (one way) and then departing from another country. Instead of wishing for the money to pay for it or for someone to give me the tickets, I TOLD the Universe, “Universe, I am going to __________ this spring. YOU figure it out.” Pam, within two days, a little voice told me to book a round trip from one spot and then fly internally back to that city. OMG!! Instead of thousands of dollars, the airfare was a few hundred dollars. I am comfortable with the flying alone in foreign countries because I just did it in India! YAY!!! The Universe is always more creative and thinks bigger than I do on my own. I AM Blessed Abundantly. Attitude of Gratitude. WHOOHOO

    1. I love this story Amy! Thanks for sharing it with us 😊👍🏻 I always read everybody’s comments because often there are stories that are further inspiration or affirmation of Pam’s post and it feels like I’m part of a great big group sharing these wonderful ACIM lessons and this amazing journey of spiritual growth. So Thankyou because your story is perfect for me today 😊💖 JL

    2. Oh Amy….well done you, and thank you so much for sharing this story!
      E X A C T L Y what I needed to read.today! <3

    3. What an awesome reminder, Amy, of the Universe thinking bigger than we do. I’ve noticed it’s true, but only about 100 percent of the time! Thanks for sharing!!!

  2. Yeeehaaaa! Fear is just a “nothing burger”!!! Love it! I love the song too, and right this minute I’m writing to you from my bed (its 8.30am on my day off so I’m making the most of not getting up at 5.45am) and so before I even lift my head from my pillow I’m claiming my blessing for today! Amen and Thankyou Pam – I love you 😁💖

  3. I think I’m not expecting enough or to be answered. I want so much for that to change.
I appreciate all you are doing here and want you to know to never give up on us as we often do on ourselves.

    1. I have another problem : I don’t know what to ask for ! I could ask for a nice surprise every day, though… ;-p

    2. I sometimes give up on myself, too. But I know enough now to recognize when I’m heading down that path and so I change directions at my earliest possible opportunity.

  4. Hi Pam
I’m thinking back about one comment you made on one of our reviews: “My Holiness is my Superpower!” How awesome it this?

I wonder when you will come and visit us here “Down Under” in Australia. I sooo would love to tell you over a cup of coffee how having an Attitude of Gratitude can even bring someone back from the dead. In this case my then 17 yo daughter who had a car crash, sustained an “unsurvivable” (drs words, not ours) injury , spent 3 weeks in ICU and a year in hospital. Her survival and subsequent miraculous recovery is still an enigma in the hospital.

Being Thankful saved her life, and is still continuing to improve her strength. We experienced a Miracle and are still living in it today!

Please keep on blogging on ACIM. My little Angel told me this is your next big best seller…. a day-to-day guide on the ACIM. Your accompanying blogs really makes every lesson alive for me. I have tried the ACIM before several times, but could never get past lesson 30 or so. Now, reading it with your insight, I “get” it! Welldone and thank you.

Lots of love and kind regards

    Sharon

Ps. I can in my minds eye picture your book… diary-style with place to write, scribble and draw what comes up for us….

    Beautifully illustrated with watercolors….

    1. Wow! What a story! Thanks so much for sharing. And thanks for your kind words about my “next book.” PS. I LOVE Australia. I got my master’s degree in communication at Macquarie University in Sydney.

  5. Thank you, Pam, for your work! I’m a huge fan of your writing since I listened to your E Squared audio book~ I really like your writing on the page, but also get a kick out of the energy that comes through in your voice.
I’m up at an odd hour~ woke up in the middle of the night/morning and instead of stressing about not sleeping, I did a search for a fun interview to listen to and found someone interviewing you about Thank and Grow Rich~a book I hadn’t realized you wrote.
Anyway, you spoke about your practice of sharing 5 new miracles each day with your Possibility Posse, so I sent an email to my husband~ away on a biz trip~ about 5 little miracles I was grateful for from the day before.
I am now in an excited flow and looking forward to the new day ahead.

  6. Which song? The link did not bring to a song only a page about her. I save all the “songs” in my newly created, “Happy Happy Joy Joy” file. 🙂

  7. Thanks so much Pam for keeping your daily messages coming. It is helping me very much keep up with my rereading of the ACIM Workbook. I really value your time and commitment to us.

  8. could someone please explain to me the “laser love” experiment?

    thank you

    bonnie
