Chris Michaels, a handsome and very wise Science of Mind minister, told a great story a few weeks ago. 
He explained that when you make an intention (or pray or send out a ‘rocket of desire,’ as LOA students might call it), you must act with authority. You must KNOW that your words and consciousness are powerful.
Remember that bit in the Lord’s Prayer where we say, “Give us this day our daily bread?”
“Our daily bread,” say Chris, “is everything we need to live well and be happy. How bold. How absolutely courageous!!”
Notice that Jesus taught us to command.
He didn’t beg. He didn’t plead. He didn’t even ask. Or say, “Please, pretty, pretty please, God, send me a loaf of pumpernickel.”
Jesus knew his word had power. He knew that when he spoke, his word was activated by a law of energy that only knows how to deliver whatever is held in consciousness.
You don’t beg the soil to grow a plant. You simply put a seed in the ground and watch it grow. You don’t plead with your coffee pot to make your morning coffee. You don’t stand over it and say.“Please, God, I’ve been really good and I need some caffeine.”
No, you simply plug it in. You place a demand upon the law of electricity by plugging in your coffee pot. And you know with complete authority that within a few minutes you’ll have coffee.
We simply must give up this notion that there is a reluctance by the universe to provide our good.
There is never hesitation on the part of the universe to give you absolutely everything good you can possibly imagine. But nothing can be given until it is claimed.

I was just thinking this last night, and when I read E-Cubed (so awesome by the way!) so many of the experiments were things I had started doing on my own just prior to receiving the book to the point where it felt uncanny. Quantum entanglement is a trip!

Pam – This is awesome information. You are, once again, spot on! I think a lot of us new agers are as you say, a bit timid or reluctant to boldly state what we expect. It bothered me that you didn’t honor my request in your latest book to refer to me as Adriana Dominguez, Life Coach in using my story on page 30 of your book. But in looking at the way I phrased it, I can see it was not worded to forcefully proclaim my expectation.
I said:
“I am honored to have this opportunity to share what has been such an incredible experience. Please feel free to use all or part of it and if you do share it, I’d appreciate it if you would refer to me as Rev. Adriana Dominguez, Spiritual Life Coach.”
What I should have said was:
“Pam, you can use my story on the condition that you must list me (at least somewhere in the book) as Rev. Adriana Dominguez, Spiritual Life Coach and also refer to my website as http://www.revadriana.com”
Of course, you may have opted not to use the story at all, which would have been a risk I’d have to take. Interestingly, I was of the belief that I had been more clear than I obviously was. This is a good lesson for me (and hopefully others) that backs up your claim that we must boldly state exactly what we want.

I apologize Rev. Adriana Dominiguez, Spiritual Life Coach. I think you just announced it, as well as your website. Sorry I wasn’t able to use all the names, partly because my file of stories was so HUGE and I couldn’t keep track of every name. But you said it so well right here!!!
Ok Pam , I understand- but what I don’t understand is how you get to feeling that this is true. I can intellectually accept that yes I deserve all I need, but it isn’t easy to believe that I truly have no blocks. I would LOVE to have no blocks.
Same way you get to Carnegie Hall. Practice, practice, practice. And remember–it’s up to us to the stories we tell.
Your emphasis on Jesus’ approach to gettin’-‘er-done reminded of this quote from Chapter two of A Course In Miracles:
“The Children of God are entitled to perfect comfort, which comes from perfect trust.”
Amazing once again Pam, simple straight to the point no 3 steps systems… Just plain old straight up communication! We communicate everyday to the FP through others and through our SELVES. May as well tell it how it is and have the absolute knowing and certainty that this will be our reality.
So on time… I’ve been reminded in a dream that I have that power and I need to use it more … I enjoy the clarity…. Thanks for being you

Pam, I love this too. Thank you! I bought your book, E-Squared. It’s just great – well written, inspiring, and fun too. I finished the first experiment though and didn’t get a clear sign. I felt excited and hopeful during the 48 hours. Now what? Try again? Move on to #2? Am I “blocked”? Doing something wrong?
Hi Pam, I’ve read both your books and loved them. My question is identical to the person who commented above, 6thinline. I didn’t get the result from the first experiment in E-Squared both times I tried, but I believe the reason has something to do with your post today: somewhere inside, I didn’t believe that I would get what I asked for, or didn’t ask with sufficient conviction. Do you agree? I have had amazing results before with experiments in E-Cubed, which I read first …
