What’s in your selfie? Or why you should always hold a luminous vision for your life

“Stay free inside the game. Find the glory inside yourself so you can dance with a little more abandon, with a little more shaking of those hips.”—Billy Fingers

So here’s the thing that nobody explains very well. Life, this seemingly mysterious force, conforms around our beliefs and expectations.

Our thoughts, judgments and opinions literally sculpt the material reality we call our life.

The ONLY reason we see the same ole’ thing as yesterday is because we get up every morning and renew our relationship with the same old beliefs and expectations. But it’s only one story in a palette of infinite possibilities.

We can rewrite the story, choose a different color from the palette at any time…which is why having a dazzling vision for yourself can propel you into a new 2015.

Selfies, albeit a transitory fad, can be a tool for envisioning a new you.

So even if you don’t win one of the prizes in the E-Cubed Selfie Challenge**, you’ll propel yourself into a whole new story, one guaranteed to have a happy ending.

Hope you will encourage all your friends (forward, reblog, post on Facebook or Twitter) to join you in this exciting new world we’re creating.

Keep the selfies coming.

Here’s a fun one from Chris Spicer: 10885434_10203520388546571_1430725660603654987_n

Chris’ selfie vision? “I am the guardian of a major fortune, we’re talking 100s of millions of dollars, where I invest the funds and then release the earnings to worthy non-profits all over the world. That’s not all, I’m on a permanent road-trip, where I personally interview non-profit teams to learn where the challenges and inefficiencies lie, so I can connect them with whomever or whatever will fill the gap, thus empowering non-profits to achieve an even bigger impact.”

Let’s hear it for Chris! Let’s hear it for all our visions, now coming into fruition just like our selfies.

** Prizes (25 in total) will be rewarded to the most creative selfies, to the selfies that first duplicate themselves in reality and to the selfie with the biggest and highest vision for world change.

  1. Hi Pam!

Chris’s selfie is almost identical to mine. Very cool. I had a question though. In both E2 and E3, you always mention setting a deadline, usually 24 to 48 hours. Now you say:

Notice our job DOES NOT include plans for HOW we’re going to get it, WHEN it’s going to come, or WHERE we’ll find it.

OK, so we are not to set a “WHEN” for this vision?? I am a little confused since you said that setting a deadline was so important a part of this process. Can you please clarify?

I hope to see Chris soon- she is in her Rv and traveling and I am in my RV and we are meeting up on the road somewhere while we both are playing with our 100s of millions, on permanent vacation and helping others. I could have written hers it’s so identical to mine! So Exciting! But what about deadlines????

    Thank you.

    Hilary

  2. Hi Pam,

Chris’s vision is so identical to mine it’s spooky! My question is this though: in both E2 and E3 you stress the importance of setting deadlines, usually 24 to 48 hours. You say it is an critical part of the process, yet, now you say:

Notice your job DOES NOT include plans for HOW you’re going to get it, WHEN it’s going to come, or WHERE you’ll find it.

OK, so now we don’t care about the “WHEN” – can you explain this? So we don’t set deadlines anymore? Can you please clarify?

Meanwhile, I expect to see Chris out on the road in her RV. I will meet up with her in my RV, a Monaco Diplomat 43DFT with solar panels. She will be playing with her 100s of millions and so will I, while we are on permanent vacation and helping others along the way. I can see, taste, smell, and hear it now! So Exciting!

    But what about deadlines?

    Thank you,

    Hilary

    1. Great question, Hilary. The idea behind the deadline is to jar US into paying attention. We are already connected to everything. When we make a “deadline,” we suddenly notice. But either way, we can sit back and relax and know that the universe will handle the details….as long as we don’t let our old mental architecture get in the way.

      1. OK, Great! Thank you so much. I will keep making deadlines, because for me, it really feels more powerful. When I don’t, it feels like it could take 20 years, but a deadline adds a lot of excitement and eagerness to the process for me and helps me focus. Happy New Year Pam!

  3. Well put, Chris! Many of us, no doubt, would be delighted to meet up with you as you travel around spreading cheer & abundance wherever you go. Start a blog when you start your travels so we know when and where to meet you and join in the fun.

  4. Hi Pam and Happy New Year to you and all your readers/followers/ friends and family…..OK, everyone in the whole wide world. I’ve started a fantasy notebook and every day I write about my exciting life. It has been about a month now and all sorts of things are beginning to match the notebook. Only small, since I am currently working on a happy healthy life for me and everyone around me. Soon I will branch out into bigger and better things. Adventures and other things as they come up. I also write the world is in perfect condition. The decision makers have sorted all the world’s problems and the ecology, climate, creatures and waterways have never been in such great condition…..what a wonderful world we all live in! Big hug, Pam, Jan

  5. Ok, ha ha I am bombarding you now, last one, I love pam grouts emails , here is a forward, net books are pretty darn cool too , and finally, check this out , it kind of is in line with what we were talking about today…. This is someone I came across a few years ago, very young , only about 30, at first her beauty is almost about off because you think wow how can someone like her be a spiritual teacher, but what a life, incredible childhood abuse through the Mormon church, in particular a cult like sector of it, but just start googling her on YouTube of the net and you will be amazed ,,, it seems you either love her or hate her… Here is the link. http://www.askteal.com/videos/how-to-be-more-productive-a-success-tip.
