Chillaxing in the substrate of love

“Only reality is free of pain and free of loss.”—A Course in Miracles

The musical “Annie” was a favorite of Taz’s when she was young. I even made her a little red dress with a white collar when we went to see a traveling Broadway production.

Last Sunday, Azul, my Little from the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, and I watched the Jamie Foxx rendition in between making chocolate chip cookies.

A line from this new version caught my attention.

One of Annie’s fellow orphans asked if the wealthy mayoral candidate (Jamie Foxx) who was using her as a political prop was nice.

“Of course, he is,” Annie replied. “He just doesn’t know it yet.”

Bingo! Some of us just don’t know reality yet. We still believe the stories and fears and belief traps that, up until now, have dominated our consciousness.

Remember the famous double slit experiment? The one that launched the field of quantum mechanics and proved that once an observer gets involved, electron and proton waves coalesce or collapse into particles. In other words, waves of endless possibilities ossify into singular, material, physical points.

And that’s what happens with our beliefs. We live in a reality made from waves of infinite potentiality. The substrate (to use a scientific term that describes the base or foundation in which we exist) is pure, unadulterated love. That’s reality. The only reality.

So whether we know it or not, whether we’ve collapsed a different set of particles or not, it is still possible to withdraw our beliefs and our fears and simply rest in the only reality that’s real.  And that’s when life gets really exciting!

Now go out and have the most amazingly awesome weekend of your life.

It’s peaceful, restorative, bliss. ☺️ Thanks Pam for another excellent post, and for reminding us that our thoughts and beliefs are the power that collapses possibility into reality. That is so exciting when we really grasp it! May we all go and have an amazingly awesome weekend consciously collapsing possibilities resting in the wave of Love. 😄💃🥳
