“I learned to communicate with invisible presences. I’ve been listening for the unseen ever since.”—Brian Conroy

The daily readings in the Course in Miracles right now are reviews, each one kicking off with the statement that is repeated ad naseum throughout the entire thousand-plus pages.
“I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me.”
In this physical domain, that statement is a real head-scratcher. I see a body every time I look in the mirror. I feel a body when, as a girl who cain’t say no, I play pickleball way longer than I should.
However, I’ve also begun to notice that who I really am stretches way beyond the few cubic feet of material space I’ve identified as “me.”
As I begin to experience myself as an electromagnetic field, as an energetic frequency, I recognize the truth in that statement. I feel a connection to well, everything.
Lately, when people ask “how ya’ doin’?,” I’ve been answering with “I’m buzzy.”
What I mean is I’m feeling this palpable energetic buzz that brings me intense joy. I notice it whenever I stop for a moment, whenever I walk outside and feel the trees and the wind and the shimmering sun. Sometimes, I notice it when I’m unloading the dishwasher.
It’s different than say, the joy I get when Taz sends me a hedgehog or a reader offers thanks for one of my books.
It’s a field of coherence, I guess you could say, that feels alive and in unity with the whole universe.
And even though it’s hard to put into words, it feels magical and exciting and even well, commonplace.
May this field, this truth, this river of love bring peace and joy to us all.

Happy birthday, Leigh! I will send her a note. Thanks for the head’s up. And I probably couldn’t stop writing if I tried.
Hello Pam,
Thank you for sharing another post in which you describe (some “thing” which really can’t be expressed in words) what it feels like to knowingly be your essential nature.
I still marvel at the same realization; which is described in Christian terms through the following expression: “The Father and I are one.” Yes, you are not the body-mind, nor are eight billion apparent “others.”
Blessings…always, in all ways (with props to Neale Donald Walsch). 🙏
It can’t be described, but I keep trying. Thanks so much!
Thank you for this reminder to be open to all that is!
Hey, Laurie, my Lawrence pal.
I love that you said experience myself as an electromagnetic field, as an energetic frequency. I always really vibrate with a lot of things you say. I feel you put into words what I know and feel. Thank you for all you do!
Thank you, Frank! I think all of us somehow sense this–this connection, this buzz.
You always make my day!!!!!!!!!
So glad to be a part of your day!
Oh yes! Felt that incredible buzz other day when dealing with feelings in a relationship. He and I, when I see us as separate, have different views on privacy, boundaries, many things when identifying with a body! This led me to get quiet and seek peace, forgiveness, salvation …. I found it in a reggae song Jah Lift Me where I surrendered and the buzz was out of this world 🌍!! Reminded me that my brother/sister is there for my remembering and everything is happening FOR ME not to me! 💖 and even better HS has my best interests as its daily agenda!!
Thanks sis! 🥰
Powerful. Can’t wait to listen to that song!!!
Oh yes, the buzzzzzzzzzz! Taz sent you a hedgehog. My Momma just sent me a hawk feather literally 10 footsteps after I asked for one yesterday. Coherence indeed. If you put yourself in the “gap” you can feel that buzzzzzzzzy coherence literally everywhere and with everyone. What a gift it is to be alive and to buzzzzzzz.
Amen, sister!
Good morning!
I gotta tell you that my husband’s amazingly awesome therapist recently referenced Pam Grout. Boy, was she surprised and delighted to learn that not only did he know who PG is, but that his wife (ME!) is a huge fan, has most of her books, AND…has met PG and Jim for coffee! She may have been a little jealous, but in a good way. We lent her The Ego’s Playbook, and she loved it.
Sending all of you a big dose of buzz, on this glorious Tuesday morning!
xox
That is so cool! I love these reminders of our connections.
Pam,
I feel it!! That energy that has no name. And, I’m glad to hear others like yourself sharing it, so I feel less crazy and more alive in this loving and all-encompassing JOY!
Love,
Karen
YES!!!! We’re not crazy. We’re just living in our true nature!
I so identify with this. The “everyday” miracles that keep my energy flowing each and every day flows thru me all the time – even when I’m not aware of it. When I am, I think I can fly!!
I love that, like the moon on a cloudy night, it’s still there.
The last of my two sons passed away on July 4th. I am devastated. Really trying to stay centered. But this is devastating.
Sending you love, so much love.
Oh Sheryl! I am so sorry! I wish you peace and I send a plea to your sons (who are still with you, albeit in a different form) to let you know they are all right. I truly understand the devastation. Love, love, love to you!!
My deepest sympathies Sheryl.
Love you Pam and thank you !!! Love the buzz beyond any words to explination!
Thanks, Kate!!!
Love your words!
Hi Pam! Funny you should mention finding joy in unloading a dishwasher. Just the other day, I grudgingly went to unload ours with my usual thought of “Grrr. Ugh. Waagh. I DREAD this task. I ALWAYS dread this task.” And then I thought of Byron Katie and I asked myself, “Is it true?” And then I just cracked up and proceeded on joyfully. I even enjoyed the silverware tray!
I love seeing your blogs in my inbox; you always gift me a lift or an inspiration. Thank you for being a bright light in this world.
Thank you
Pam, I love you!
Hello from Brazil, Pam! I hope you’re doing well!
Pam, I’d like your help with a question I have, please: several authors who wrote about the power our thoughts and emotions have over the Universe died very young—and from diseases that cause great suffering—so I have to admit, this has really thrown me for a loop… what do you think is the explanation for this?
Please note that I’m not being malicious here; my question is sincere.
Some examples: Jane Roberts, Michael Talbot, Bärbel Mohr…
Thank you Pam-for everything 💘
Thanks for your notes, as always, Pam.!
I was driving up the highway here in sunny Connecticut today to meet yet another wonderful woman that might be a peer, client, referral source, friend. Who knows?
And I thought about the woman from my morning conversation about finding right clients. And I found myself thinking…ITS ALL ENERGY. It is. Connection, a love frequency shift in business. I totally feel it!
This is beautiful. I feel it too.
