“Our love for the world keeps eternity wide and bright and full of potential.”  — Nick Cave

Like any conversation, a good blog post attempts to keep the reverberations going.

So just a quick postscript to yesterday’s words:

I like to think my cosmic daughter added these thoughts to my thoughts about loving the world:

“Despite what the culture prescribes, there is nothing that needs to be added, nobody you need to become.

“In fact, other than the mind’s nonsense, nothing could ever be wrong.

“Any method or technique that pretends to offer something or somewhere to reach at some nebulous future (in other words, anything that’s not now) by its very nature starts with the assumption that something’s wrong.

“Even a goal of self-discovery only keeps you on the path. But there is no path. You’re already there.”

Thanks, Taz!

  1. Thanks, Taz and Pam. It means the world to me to hear from you both.
    Love, Marney

  2. What a wonderful follow-up to yesterday’s post. It was EXACTLY what I needed to hear right now! Thank you Pam, thank you Taz!! 💕 Sending you lots of love! ❤️☘️🦔
Btw, the numbers 222 keep showing up in my life everywhere lately. 💫

  3. “Even having a goal of self-discovery only keeps you on the path. But there’s no path. You’re already there.” Truer words were never spoken! Really needed this reminder today. Infinite gratitue, Taz and Pam. #222 Forever!

  4. The confusing part is, ok, then what do I do? I still have to pay bills and save for the future. I have to think about that.

    1. The real you doesn’t have to think about that. As the Course says, it’s “just a senseless fragment of a dream that happened to cross our minds.”

  5. Thanks for the PS Pam and Taz. I’m going to mull over these words and come back later with my response. 👌🏼🥰👋🏻

    1. So, here’s my take on your message Pam, now that I’ve had time to consider it further.

Right here, right now, and every ‘right now’ from now onward, we are all complete, whole, and perfect as we are, even if that ‘perfection’ doesn’t look or feel like what we believe perfection is supposed to be, or what we’ve been told it is by society, family etc. We don’t need to add or take away anything from ourselves to be any more worthy or perfect or whole. We can, however, make changes if we want to, but not because we ‘should’ according to any current standard or societal belief for example. And not because we think we will only be worthy or acceptable or good enough once we’ve made those changes. We are already good enough as we are right now. There are no shoulds we need to subscribe to. That is a very liberating, and also a somewhat scary thought!! But if we fully know that we are always connected to the Divine Dude at every moment, then we don’t have to he afraid. Everything we need to know in every moment is available to us, if we will open our hearts, quiet our minds, and learn to trust that ‘inner knowing’. Whether it’s a ‘still, small voice’ that we hear with our inner ear, or an audible voice, or just a gut feeling that we know is not our ego or chatter mind, but is the voice of truth, then we don’t ever have to worry about the future, or what we ‘should do’ to provide for that future. We can always live in this now moment, knowing all is well and is as it ‘should’ be. (Haha! Couldn’t resist that last should! 😄) So, that’s the conclusion I’ve come to from your ‘should’ post and it’s P.S. Thank you Pam for helping me clarify my thoughts by sharing your thoughts and the thoughts Taz shared with you too. Very helpful for right now – and always. 😉🥰

  6. This resonates beautifully with what I’m currently reading, Awareness by Anthony De Mello. In being aware that you are not your thoughts, as you so often remind us Pam, he adds that we can be HAPPY in our depression! How delicious is THAT! {{Hedgehugs}}

  7. Love love love the PS Pam. Following on from that, and your beautiful Cosmic daughter…we are all Cosmic, always have been!

  8. Thank you Pam and Taz 🙏
Our minds make life so much more complicated than it needs to be
