With a little help from my friends

“Your heart and my heart are very, very old friends.”–Hafiz

Happy Tuesday, beloveds! Thought I’d pop in today to share a couple things, all of which involve beautiful connections.

The first is a message from Taz who reminded me this morning that who I am–who we all are–is far greater than we think. She wanted me to know that each of us is WAY MORE wise, kind and joined together than we could ever imagine.

Our bodies which occupy…oh, I don’t know?…99 percent of our attention?…are temporary tools we have the privilege of using for a short while. Sorta like a hammer. But we should never forget they’re not the whole tool box.

I also want to give props to all of you who email me the most amazing things—from pictures of hedgehog feather dusters to amazing manifestation stories to praise for my words that sometimes make me blush, but always remind me why I write and why it’s so important to use our given “tools” to shine for the divine.

Yesterday, a filmmaker I met through Mike Dooley sent me an inspiring video of an otter who, after getting the attention of a human who was able to rescue his trapped mate, swam back to him and presented him with a thank you gift of a rock. An otter gave a human a tangible thank you gift!!!!! Maybe I can figure out how to share that here.

The last connection I want to highlight is a couple friends who are throwing a big party/concert/love fest for the Taz Grout 222 Foundation. It’s on September 22 at Unity Village outside Kansas City. If any of you are in the area (or if you feel like driving/flying/hot air ballooning in), please join us. I’ll be presenting along with Karen Drucker and Greg Tamblyn. They’ll be singing. I’ll just be dancing and celebrating and sharing a few thoughts on inner guidance and spacious aliveness.

Karen Drucker, whose music and words embolden us to forever embrace the wonders of life, is giving a retreat the weekend before so why not come for the whole three days?  You can get more info here.

Greg Tamblyn, who might be the funniest singer alive (he’s also profound as Gandhi), is hosting a couple trips to Ireland. I keep trying to sign up, but they book up so fast that a couple years ago when four friends and I intended to go we ended up with a band we’d never ever heard of, but absolutely LOVED. Grace is funny that way.  There’s more info here.

So that’s it for today, except for this final thought: You are part of an inscrutable love that’s all-encompassing and more real and vast than you’ll ever know while swinging the hammer.

#222 Forever!

  1. Otters! My favorite creature. I believe Richard Bach wrote that we humans are the otters of the universe! How fun!

    1. I love being an otter of the universe. And I love that when they sleep, they hold hands. So they don’t drift apart. That’s what we’re doing here–holding hands!!!

  2. I grew up in a working class family. They were conservative and conventional people. My father told me I must go to college to improve myself. I believed him. I did two years at a community college in Los Angeles, CA. Then transferred to the university and got my BA and teaching credential. I met my first husband who wanted to avoid the draft. Marriage, child and two children provided him with a deferment.

About 2012, I studied E squared. I did the experiments. Some blew my conservative mind. I sort of was still a Christian. I drove somewhere and the pickup truck ahead of my car had a bumper sticker that talked about Christian Warriors. If God is Love why do we need warriors? I pondered that question. I started to attend Unity of CSL after seeing that truck. Then in 2018, I discovered ACIM. That totally changed my life. I released anger. That was my go to way of being. And it just went away.

Here is my miracle. I lived in a condo in Las Vegas which was too expensive. I wanted to move somewhere else. San Diego was too expensive to buy a mobile home. My brother asked me to move to Clearlake, Ca. I bought a mobile home in Kelseyville which is a small town. That is where i live. I did this move on faith I would be OK. My neighbor, with whom I am friendly, just took me to a store where I bought Tamales which I will have for dinner. I am blessed.

  3. I have just finished A Course In MIracles for the 4th time …and am always in total awe of your interpretation of the lesson which most days I cannot make head nor tail of …..for the past year your words often have made me laugh out loud as I love the way your mind works….you are a miracle worker making light of such a complicated text. You have lightened every morning with your words and set me in the right direction for my day. A million thanks to you Pam.

  4. Hi to Pam and to all of your Possibility Posse!

Please be kind enough to help with a Healing Prayer for my niece, Natalie. She is more like my daughter.
She is only 36 years old with a 2 yr old and 4 yr old and was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. My heart is breaking.

The survival rate is about 10-13% but it is NOT Zero. She is so afraid and so sick. We keep assuring her that healing is possible.

If you have any stories of stage 4 PC survivors would you please send them my way? And say a prayer for her?

I am not sure if it is ok to put my email in this message in order to receive any stories. I will put it under my name so it is easy for you to delete if you wish.

I love your books, Pam. And love seeing you pop up in my inbox!!

    Love and Light,
