We got this, baby!

“The way will open if you believe it’s possible.”—A Course in Miracles angelnumber-222-1

You might have heard. The Kansas City Chiefs won the Superbowl last weekend. It was head coach Andy Reid’s 222nd professional win and it happened on 2/2/20.

Needless to say, it was highly significant for me. And for the 222 Foundation that honors the brilliant, beautiful Tasman McKay Grout.  The three amazing projects (out of 100 applications) we’ve chosen to fund this year will be announced on February 22.

In the meantime, I wanted to share something I learned about Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, that applies to today’s Course in Miracles lesson.

In the fourth quarter, when the Chiefs were down ten points with less than nine minutes to go, Mahomes was chanting to each of his teammates, “We got this, baby.”

Despite what the scoreboard said, despite two earlier interceptions, despite the fact the game was nearly over, Mahomes was convinced, “We got this, baby!”

That’s classic ACIM Lesson 41 that tells us to quit inventing cures for made-up problems. It advises us to, instead, question the reality of the problem.

And that’s exactly what Patrick Mahomes did last Sunday. So what if they were down 10 points? Who cares there are only eight minutes left?

Those “facts” are only a “problem” if he saw them as a problem. He did not. In a short eight minutes, the Chiefs made a flurry of three touchdowns, won the Superbowl and proved the Course that says, “The way will open if you believe it’s possible.”

So today, instead of coming up with a solution for whatever “problem” appears to plague you, remember Patrick Mahomes. Remember the Course in Miracles that teaches us to “give up our allegiance to problems.” We can make an attempt this very day to go past the cloud of insane thoughts and reach the light beyond.

  1. Thank you, Pam! I love reading your posts. And I love your Course of Miracles book. I’m always happy to see 222 and think of you and Taz. Yes, I am always in the right place at the right time.

  2. I love your blog and always look forward to it Pam – you’re the world whisperer reminding us to live life fully and confidently. Thank you for your continuous support and reassurance! (Just a heads up that the Super Bowl was on 2/2/20)

  3. Thank you, lovely Pam. I’ve been reminding this to myself during the whole day and yep, I got the king of the reminders by you right now. We are blessed <3

  4. That post really helped! It “unstuck” my brain which has been ruminating about different displeasing topics that seem so “objectively bad”. But I really got that these things don’t have to be viewed as problems. That I get to choose if I want to be happy. It was like you gave me a verbal remedy! Thanks so much! I needed it 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

  5. Wow reading this was “right on time” for me. Ive been anxiety ridden over a few things these last few days and today was the first day I started to give myself a break. Then I read this post and it just re-affirmed what I already knew that I should be doing. Use positive affirmations to take my mind off of everything that I perceive to be wrong. Thanks Pam!

  6. Pam, you might not believe this, but before I ever read one of your books, or knew who you were, I had a thing with the number 222. Years ago, I started seeing that number everywhere. It was always showing up and always right in my face. I knew it was more than a coincidence. I knew I was seeing it for a reason. I asked the universe to find a way to communicate to me what it meant. One night I had a dream. It was detailed and informative and the message or the lesson was not like something you’d learn in a class. It was like I was totally enveloped with a knowledge and a knowing. When I woke up I couldn’t recall it in the same detail, but I was left with an understanding that anytime I saw 222 I was “on the right track.” I use the 222 sign to this day & know when I see it, I’m on the right track or path. I love that the universe communicates with me in this way. After I found you and read many of your books, it wasn’t until your Taz left the planet, and you wrote about your connection with her and the number 222 that I knew it wasn’t a coincidence that our paths crossed. Love the new ACIM book. I’m learning something new everyday and it’s life changing. Much love to you.

  7. Pam, I love all your posts, but this one in particular was what I needed. I’ve been training myself to feel that I’ve got this, that Divine Oneness has my back, and that I can have my dreams come true. It’s finally working. Posts like this are like the FP cheering me on. Thanks!

  8. Pam you will love this: I was thinking of you today while shopping. Well, as I was leaving a shop actually. And I looked up and there was a car with 222 in the number plate. The only three numbers. Car was parked where I could not possibly miss it.

    You go girl!

    With kind regardsAnne

  9. Hello, Pam, This works beautifully for the team that won. How does your view of ACIM’s explain the other team’s loss?

  10. Loved this post, Pam. Your new book just arrived last week. It’s accompanying me as I go through the ACIM lessons (starting lesson 25 today – total newbie here). Thanks for spreading the love, lady!

  11. I JUST started your new book and absolutely LOVE IT. (I immediately ordered a copy for my best
friend.) Thank you for today’s post, all your posts, all your books, all your BIG LOVE! 💥💓💥

  12. Hi Pam, I just wanted to chime in with all those 2’s floating around in todays message!! I sent in a donation to the 222 Foundation last December for $2,222.22 because it just struck me as to how neat those numbers flowed!!!

I am looking forward with glee to see who you have chosen to be the happy recipient!!

Keep up the great work you do! Blessings and Love, Carol Brown

  13. THANK YOU so much for your continued inspiration over the last few years, and THANK YOU for the excellent CIM book! I decided to read it all the way through first, and then go back to focus on each lesson individually. I can’t tell you how pleased I was to find out you had left all the G-d baggage behind – that had been a serious sticking point for me when trying to get into the CIM years ago. I appreciate your humorous, insightful version of the Course, and I look forward to getting deep into it this year. YOU ROCK!!

  14. Patrick Mahomes is kind of ‘magical’ too. He willed that win and believed they could win the Super Bowl after a 50 year drought! (Yes, I’m a Chiefs fan! Woot Woot!!) He believed, and now the rest of Chiefs Kingdom can celebrate too! Believe it and you can do it, despite the clock ticking away!

  15. WOW – “PAMMIE” – I JUST BOUGHT YOUR NEW BOOK A COURSE IN MIRACLES – EXPERIMENT, A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO. THIS EM DOESN’T PULL ME ALONG BUT GIVES ME GOOD PUSH THROUGH THE DOOR. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I HAVE BEEN INTERESTED IN ACIM FOR A WHILE BUT THE WEIGHT OF IT KEEP ME FROM IT. YOUR TRANSLATION IS, WHAT I AND I THINK YOU ALREADY KNOW, MANY OTHERS DO TOO.

    BEST REGARDS,

    WE GOT THIS BABY!!! 😊

  16. This is soooooo fabulous! And the perfectly timed reminder for me today. Thankyou Pam- the way you express the wisdom from The Course in Miracles brightens my day and lifts my spirits, and now I can walk forward knowing that “the way will open [when I] believe it’s possible.” Amen! 🌹💛🎈

  17. Oh Dear Pam ~~ I love all of the connections ~~ Loved the spirit of Mahomes and how he lifts and inspires everyone with joy ~~ and all of the 222 smiles and nods to and for and with and from Beautiful Taz. Thank you for your lifting and inspiring too, dear friend… Your book arrived today. 🙂 I love you xoxoxo Heather

  18. I want to tell you how much I appreciate your blog and that I´m glad you are back. It is always a pleasure to hear from you.

  19. Hi Pam! LOVE your new book (and all the previous). I feel perplexed – with The Course, if all of this is an illusion, a dream, what is any of this for? Why have desires? Why do anything? It just seems like it’s all insanity…

    1. I wish I had the answers for you. I know for me personally it’s all about love. Love of my family, my children, my grandchildren. Trying to make those loving connections in the world. Love and Trust are what is making it all work for me. One day at a time. 💜

  20. Pam, thank you for being one of the lights who continually lead me to the LIGHT BEYOND.
    Love & gratitude 🌞
