Big, fat juicy thanks all around

“If you have the right music very loud on the radio, you get about 50 more miles from your tank.”—Hunter S. Thompson Gratitude-Changes-Everything.jpg

It’s gratitude month, my friends. And as I do every morning with my possibility posse, I simply must share three amazingly awesome things that recently transpired.

Numero uno. Dr. Christiane Northrup who may just be the most generous person in the world recently made an Instagram video about my new book. My editor asked her to possibly provide an endorsement (after all, she’s a well-known and very famous expert) and wow! Not only did she provide kudos, but she made this fun little video, completely unprompted. She even said this was the first time she’d ever been able to embrace A Course in Miracles and she wanted my book (when it comes out in January) on her nightstand. As I said, WOW!

Second really cool thing is that Karen Drucker, the uber famous touring musician, speaker and retreat leader (and winner of the Tarzan calling competition when she was 13) has offered to throw a benefit concert for the 222 Foundation.

The Unity Temple on the Plaza has agreed to host this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity on May 3 in Kansas City. Karen, who will be playing and singing songs from her 15 albums, will present along with Greg Tamblyn, me, Emmy-nominated Stowe-Good and other like-minded friends. And, just so you know, we’ll be presenting the song Karen and I wrote called, “Something amazingly awesome is going to happen to me today.”

We are hereby affirming that this consciousness-bending show will alter the world forevah!!! The 222 Foundation is all about moving the needle and this benefit concert is guaranteed to rev up the engine. Make plans now to be there.

Third reason I can barely sit here in my chair is that an auction has just begun for the 52 paintings that were created by the German artist, Sigrid Drobner, for the 222 Foundation.

flower2After Taz passed last October, this artist who I had never met promised to paint a special flower (and make a 3-D butterfly) every week of the year in Taz’s honor.

People sometimes say they’re going to do things, but this amazing artist actually followed through. She sent me one of these gorgeous paintings every single Saturday for 52 weeks. I can’t even begin to express how much her generosity has meant to me, how often it picked me up when I was wondering what in the heck I’m still doing on this planet.

And now she is auctioning them off with ALL PROCEEDS going to the 222 Foundation. Here’s what she says: “If anybody wants to make an offer, they can easily write an email to my address s.drobner@buntezeiten.de.” The auction, she says, will end December 1.

Again, my friends, never forget that support, love, generosity and abundance is the reality of the world. We simply have to let go of old school ideas that tell us otherwise.

I love and appreciate you all SO, SO much. I’d love if, in the comments section below, you share three of your own blessings. Let’s keep watering those seeds. course experiment

  2. You are truly an empowered woman who empowers others, so looking forward to read your book, what a wonderful companion it will be to my ACIM.
    Thank you so much.

  3. Not many people can say the world was changed because they were born.

    Now, without question, you can.

    Nicely done.

  4. I am so grateful to have found you, your books and your inspiration. It has helped, and continues to help, me shift my mindset, which I can blissfully share with my beautiful children.

Right at this very moment I feel blessed to see the sun shining, hear the birds singing and chirping out my bedroom window while I listen to music that makes me want to sing along. (I LOVE music!)

I feel such utter and total love for our gorgeous boxer/lab cross Sadie that we rescued sight unseen at 7 months old in February. She has had to undergo surgery on both front elbows and will need supporting throughout her life and I am so grateful she chose us since we can both help and live her. She has brought SO much joy into our home.

And, of course, like everyone else who loves you so much Pam, I can’t wait to buy your new book in January 🙂 x

  5. 1. I am grateful for courage and willingness to continue on this journey through what you have experienced.

    2. I am grateful I can walk.

    3. I am grateful for food and shelter.

  6. Pam, I am crying with tears of gratitude for you and how you keep showing up and inspiring us to, also.

  7. Thank you Pam and I love you too 🙂 Every time I read your words I feel filled with a sense of potential – what a gift you have to communicate that energy. So that is one of my gratitudes: your wisdom and passion in my life. My others are that I am grateful that I am even having this precious human experience (ya!) and another is for the amazing and loving people I have in my life. Joy to all!!

  8. Pam thank you for reminding me to always be thankful. The Universe always provides us with all that is good. I am eagerly awaiting the release of your new book. I’m at work right now and I’m reading a post- it note I wrote a while back. Something I read in one of your posts: FREEING ELECTRIFYING JOY!

  9. The beautiful Plum Village app for meditation.
Water. Sunshine . Air. My mother. Love. Books. Shakespeare. Tea. Orchids. The ability to read. Write. Speak.
    Creative urges.
Family. Dogs. Wolves. Whales. Dolphins. The beautiful earth.

  10. Those are very cool blessings indeed. Three recent blessings I’m grateful for are:
    * an unexpected bonus in my income tax return – yay!
    * the fabulous new heater installed on Monday – just in time for a typical Melbourne Spring cold snap!
    * a delightful 6 hour catchup with a childhood friend visiting from interstate. We talked non stop that whole time! So grateful for lifelong friendships that last across distance, times of non-contact and life’s interruptions.
And Thankyou for YOU Pam and for your bright and bubbly light that joyfully inspires us to shine our own light in the world and with each other. Blessings galore to you!
    🎈⭐️😘❤️

  11. Pam!!!
I have just pre-ordered your book and am so excited. I have been a student of ACIM for going on three years, and it was with your encouragement that I finally “took the course.” Life changing, indeed!!
I am grateful for my spiritual journey with God, as I know God!
I am grateful for family–which goes beyond blood.
I am grateful for “stillness” – which opens me up to more gratitude and joy.
Thank you for being your glorious self, for sharing Taz, and the connection you share with your readers. Amen.

    Light & Love

  12. There are so many blessings in my world, here are 3:

My beautiful daughter- amazing little girl who is unique and shining and creative and deeply true

    Music

Beautiful people I get to come across every day- the amazing nurses I work with, inspiring simple elderly folk I get to help, beautiful souls who bump into me on the internet (like yourselves).

    Much love.

It’s all possible, especially the big stuff.

    Xxx

  13. My blessings are many dear Pam, but I will just do today.
First is my Course in Miracle reading and spiritual time with my morning coffee.
Second is the arrival of my 17 month granddaughter who I watch while my daughter goes to work. Her hug and her smile heal me each and everyday.
Third is the relaxation time at the end of the day with a cup of tea, more books, and the peace of mind that I do my best to serve my family and the world each and everyday. Simple blessings which I am so grateful for. I cannot wait to start your book in January with you and Taz in my heart❤

  14. I am grateful for:
My Faith – so many people don’t have any and it is my rock.
My Life – that God called me and said “Sharon, you’re up! Do a good job.”
My Family – who I love beyond all words and expression.
Pam Grout – for writing books and posts that inspire, motivate, re-energize, etc. etc. etc.

I am grateful for much more but this is a good start. Thank you, Pam. I think of you and the Mission that you and Taz have been engaged in and that it will continue. Imagine having your very own special Angel in Heaven to inspire you from on high. God Bless You.

I am grateful for my family, our health and blessings.
Send you a big hug. Pam, you are extraordinary.

  36. I was laid off two months ago from a 25 year career (that I did not enjoy, btw). I had dreamed of owning my own business for years. I’m now grateful that, 1#, I was freed from a job that I didn’t enjoy (which included a hefty severance!). #2, I had an art director friend offer to do my business logo for free and it’s exactly what I wanted. And 3rd, a friend of a friend who heard I wanted to open my own business has offered to take me to Atlanta for a premiere buying show…for free!! #attitudeofgratitude

  37. I’m excited to get your new book and will order now. Gratitude is imperative. I have more than 3 things but I’ll stick to 3 here.
    !. I’m still breathing
    2. I can think with an open mind and heart
    3. I can still hear and see.
None of these things can be taken for granted anymore. I’m a happy person and grateful for every moment. Thank you for sharing so much with us.

  38. Pam, you always inspire me. Yesterday I had a tiny little problem, which I blew up into a lot of anger. After reading your post, I shook my head at myself. I forgot to accept whatever I’m feeling and then turn back to positive thoughts. Thanks! I can’t wait to have your book on my night stand.

      1. Yep! That too! Having the book on my nightstand helps me absorb the energy as I sleep as well.

  39. 1) Any day Pam Grout shows up in my inbox, twitter feed, or some other means.
    2) Any day my feet hit the floor and I find myself vertical, once again.
    3) Any day I hear from one of my children or they stop by to fill my house, once again, with their beautiful Light.
Any day I am asked to only list three blessings.
    What a Joy you are.
I have already started telling friends to save the May 3rd date.

  40. Pam, you are such an inspiration. When I discovered your book E Squared, it was the beginning of a brand new adventure! Your thoughts and ideas led me to create a life I absolutely love! I cannot wait to read your new book and start putting it into practice as I know, once again, it is going to have an amazing effect on the way I live my life. Thank you for your blogs and emails. Long may they continue. Continue living your best life and sharing it with us all, much love xxx

  41. I’ve been saying “something amazing is going to happen today” and a few days ago my boss approached me about a new role that is basically my dream job. But… I said well maybe I should do this first to prove myself bla, bla, bla etc. Afterwards I realized I had been given a gift and potentially screwed it up and was really kicking myself. Today, still practicing “something amazing is going to happen” my boss told me it was a done deal, the dream job was mine if I want it. I am so grateful. Thank you for your teachings.

  42. Since my life-altering stroke in 2010, a lot of things have happened to me; a lot of them very good. The bad ones even worked out as I always wished to be able to stay at home all the time and still make enough to life comfortably on. This wasn’t quite what I meant, but the universe has a sense of humor, too! From my computer desk at home now, I have manage to do over 8 years of blogging, help my mom survived losing Dad and Sis in the last 3 years, and still drive and take care of myself at home.
As far as recent new things, I do have a strange one. I, generally, go on Tuesday evenings to Cracker Barrel, my fav place, and have dinner with my two Buds. Then one Bud comes to my house and we watch a movie or several episodes of a series on Netflix. I have to say that This past Tues I got up and did not feel on top of the world. I remember just thinking in passing how, perhaps, I should call the one Bud and tell him not to drive all the way here as I just didn’t feel like a movie. I didn’t; I let the universe do its stuff; he forgot to come! I didn’t want him sick and he wasn’t. I came home and relaxed and am looking forward to next Tuesday. Sounds strange, but that’s a positive in my book where the universe looked out for me.

  43. I live in Northern California and recently, along with hundreds of thousands, had my power turned off due to the horrible fires raging. I am so grateful
    1. That the fires didn’t threaten me or those I love
    2. My power was back on in 2 days, and because I have a gas stove I didn’t really suffer
    3. The thousands of First Responders who came from all over the country to fight the fires, with no loss of life!
Every day I wake up and give gratitude for the chance to live another day, and make a difference. Your posts are so meaningful to me, and I wish you continued strength to continue on your path of high energy and loving creation!
    Warm regards,
    Shoshana

  44. Hi Pam!
So I was just at a Mystic Journey bookshop in Venice CA, and I went in not expecting to buy anything because I was “running low” on money. Then I saw your Thank and Grow Rich book, and because I devoured E square and E Cubed I really wanted to get this one because I was in some desperate need of FP reassurance. Funny part about this is that I actually had gotten Thank ans Grow Rich about 4 years ago and after I read the first chapter I lost the book! But I figured maybe someone else needed it more at that moment. Then my friend hearing this bought me another copy for my birthday a year later and then you won’t believe it but after I finished the first chapter, our house burned down in the California wildfires, so I lost it again! Lol and I told this to the check out girl and she suggested I write to you and share this funny story. I did finally buy it a third time so hopefully this time it sticks! But anyway I figured it’s a great excuse to finally write to you. Thank you for all that you do Pam! You’ve honestly changed my life so much. Sending love and peace always ❤️

  45. Grateful that I found you and your work!
Grateful that I’m 138 days alcohol free!
Grateful that I have a quiet moment to reflect – right here, right now.
    xo!

  46. Hi Pam, reading you is always motivating and makes me want to move on, I admire you too much.
my path began in April of this year when I started reading your book Thanks and Generates Abundance, this split my life in 2 and every day I am more convinced that the path of thanks for everything, small medium or large, is what attracts the most and more blessings to our lives.
Amazing things have happened this year.
First I met a dream trip with my husband and daughter Vale, 10, Madrid, Barcelona and Paris.
Then I created two groups of women with many dreams to fulfill, manifesting in my life and transforming it.
and this October I was given an opportunity for my work to concoer CHina, wow Beijing divine. and back to take advantage and find myself in LA with my sister who I had not seen for a year and a half.
I know that this year will continue to manifest infinite blessings in my life and in all those around me. and 2020 will arrive brimming with thousands and thousands more.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
    With love Iveth

  48. Oh my gosh…… the message just send by itself some how!!!! I was making changes to it and wanted to delete and add some other things… I am crazy believer though that things do happen for a beautiful reason, even though we might not see right then.

All I can say now is that I love you tremendously and think of both of you constantly and every time I see 222 I think of how amazing you are. I am sure my daughter would love to also volunteer at any of your 222 foundation events as a singer to help spread the 222 foundation love.

I love you forever and send you so much more light, positive energy and of course, so much more love 💕
