Kicking cancer in the nuts, a free trip to Hawaii and other miracle stories

Joyous Friday, my friends!

As ya’ll know, I love sharing miracle stories. Here are a couple that recently showed up:

#1: “So, my head is still spinning from the aftermath of what happened this weekend. I recently finished E-squared, did the 9 experiments and was blown away at the results.

“I put it out there from my heart that I wanted to travel to Hawaii with my wife. We have been talking about it for eight or nine years.

“After finishing your book, I made the intention, put it out there to the energy field. Friday night at 7:23pm at Buffalo Wild Wings (cheat meal for me), our in-laws, who had no idea about any of this, invited us to go! I was awestruck.”

#2: “Just wanted to say something about giving up long held beliefs as fact. After participating in a friend’s self love webinar over a period of several weeks, I got to see a lot about how we hold on to various personal, cultural, national and international beliefs.

“I examined my own, and saw the power they have over me, over my life, and my body. For most of my life, since I was 11, I have had it that I am fat and overweight (yes, both!), and as a result I have dieted for most of my life.

“Just by giving up cultural, personal, national and international beliefs about dieting,  I have lost more than 30 pounds WITHOUT dieting! I didn’t ‘watch’ what I ate. I didn’t give a second thought about having a second helping. Basically, I ate what I wanted to eat, when I wanted to eat. Some may call it intuitive eating. When I wanted ‘unhealthy’ food I would have it. When I wanted cream with my cake, I would have it.

“What I have further noticed is how these beliefs can easily creep in… time to re-examine them and give them up again…”

#3: This last story came yesterday in a phone call. My friend, Annola, from my power posse was diagnosed with cancer last year. She was given three months to live. She freaked out for awhile and then decided, “hell, no! I’m not going to let some doctor tell me what’s going to happen in my life.” At yesterday’s appointment, her doctor, who has already been amazed and inspired and wondering what in the heck she’s smoking, declared her 100 percent cancer-free.

And lastly, because it IS Friday, here’s a fun Dance of Freedom video.

Have the best weekend of your life, my friends.

  1. Did I need this ever!!! I have fallen off the meditation wagon, but I have been saying positive affirmations everyday; and things have been going very good… But in the last week I have had a proverbial bullseye on me… (complaint retracted)…I am not accepting the negative; I Know that this is only a small speed bump because something OH so Much Better is on its way!!!! I accept a job that I love and provides me with the freedom and money to travel, and have fun!!!!

    • What device are you reading it on? I’ve heard that certain formats don’t pick up the YouTube videos, even though it’s on there. Here’s the link if this helps:

  7. Dear Pam: I have your e-mail letters and read them every time they come in.  My story is pretty heavy duty and I don’t share it with many.  Way back when I was in college, from 1959 to 1963, I was a mess.  I quit college because of intense anxiety.  Since then I have had many years of psychiatric care and drugs of all kinds.  Even so, I married and after many years of adventure, hard work,  travel, and a lot of love,  I am now 75, living in a dream house, with a dream view, with a great, adoring husband, still have that anxiety and am taking gabapentin.  I am also a published artist, I play piano, I have been a caterer so cook well, and have a great network of friends.  Recently a fellow named Chris Cade started offering a “free” online course of the Course in Miracles.  I’d been looking for that course since you mentioned it in your email posts.  When I first started reading your posts I thought, right, I can’t do this.  This will never work for me.  I feel too shaky,  too scared, too unsure, too bad, etc. etc. etc.  I read E-Squared a few years ago when I had a shoulder operation and had nothing to do but read for a while. I tried the exercises, and got nothing,  Then about six months later, after my shoulder was healed, there in a comic stip was the butterfly I imagined, in full regalia.  The exact colors, in the exact places, in one of my favorite comic strips.  After that butterflies started popping up everywhere, including on my kindle where I found a book by an Amish writer called the Butterfly Healing Garden.  That started me thinking but obviously after all this time I am pretty used to thinking of myself in a certain way.  However, little by little, step by step, I am uncovering the inner critic and seeing that I actually am more than I think I am.   That being said, I am making the intent that in two years, I am going to be free of all drugs and psychiatrists.  If something as insidious as cancer can be cured with faith and a strong belief in oneself and one’s healing powers, why not anxiety and depression.  The trouble with these illnesses is that people don’t talk about healthy minds, only the sickness of minds.  So I am looking at all the amazing, healthy, happy things I do each day, even it it is just putting some tulips on the dining room table, growing another orchid, or eating a good meal. And believe me, I do a lot more healthy happy things than just these.  I’ve also signed up for Chris Cade’s Course in Miracles on line.   And I asked for a sign when I turned down a medication from my doctor that this would be a good thing.  I picked up Vogue Magazine while in the grocery store that same day and there was a whole page of butterflies on a beautiful model, and one of those butterflies was a Monarch, sitting on her lips.   Even if this doesn’t work, I can’t go wrong with so much focus on all that is good, healthy, strong, wise and happy in my life.  So thank you for that first book, E-Square and your other one, E-Cubed.  They are fun, happy, informative, and amazingly, they work. Jaquith Travis – Art by Jaquith “A mind once stretched by a new idea can never go back to its original dimensions” Albert EinsteinChange fear to open-mindedness and relaxation.  Live every day fully as if it were your last day on earth.  It just might be. – Great love and great achievements involve great risk The Dalai Lama

  8. This is my first time visiting a Blog and actually reading through it thoroughly. I must say the amount of positivity that I felt coming through the computer or just the feelings of positivity and the good vibes I received within the first 3 minutes of being on this Blog is amazing.
Thanks Pam I loved the video
