5 writers. 200,000 donors. A true reason to shout hallelujah! #IStandWithLove

“Love is worth all the hullaballo.”—Cheryl Strayed

I didn’t plan to write a blog post this morning. I’m out the door in 5 minutes. But I’m so stoked about this amazing piece of news that I really have no choice.

Five writers raised $1 million to help Syrian refugees in a mere 31 hours. That’s barely more than a day.

But what’s even cooler is that this great gift to our suffering brothers and sisters was raised by all of us together. No one gave more than $25 which means the little guys came together for a great cause. Without politicians. Or institutions.

I’d also like to thank the Donald Trumps and the Isils of the world who, on some cosmic level, agreed to play the part of the “bad guys” so the rest of us can come together and prove to ourselves what is truly possible. Maybe these “dark forces” are part of the universe’s bigger plan? Not for me to judge. My only job is keep holding out for love. For a higher Truth.

The whole scenario gives me SO. MUCH. HOPE. Anything is possible. We CAN change the world, guys. And no better time to be reminded of that than Christmas. The light is definitely here.

Enjoy your holidays. Make it the best one ever. And remember to do more of what you want to do and less of what you think you should.

I love you all SO MUCH.

  1. I love how you can put all things (even the trumpster) in a positive perspective. And thank you for always starting my day off inspired!!

    • Yes, even the Trumpster (LOVE THAT!!) is working for the highest good. Hard to see when our nose is up against the pointillist painting. We have to step back and trust the universe knows what it’s doing.

      • Thank you for reminding me to Trust the Universe knows what It is doing! sometimes I just get caught up.

  2. Ok Pam. I have read your book. I think you are a fabulous writer, fresh and immediate. You have many good points.Synchronicity is all around us, we have just to expect and witness.

I’m sorry that you weren’t properly taught about Jesus and His love and mercy. Many of us weren’t.

Trump was playing on public fear about ISIL. He also was referring to the influx of drug cartel from across our southern border.

It is naive to think that Syrians are the only ones suffering. How about helping the Syrian Christians and all of them in the middle east who are being severely persecuted and murdered? What about the jews in Europe who are being severely persecuted by muslims there?

Merry Christmas and may the God of all creation bless you.

    Sincerely, Susan

    • Hi Susan,

My father was a Methodist minister and I love the Jesus I was taught-a truly wise man who taught us to love everyone and forgive. Thanks for sharing.

    • I saw the creation of a friend where some of us might have seen an enemy. It’s all good, though. What we see just shows us where we are in this nanosecond, then poof! We can be anywhere the next. Thanks, Pam! The message felt right right down to its chewy nougat.

  3. Thanks Pam for sharing that post this morning. Good always abounds, we only need to open our hearts to see and feel it.
Our area is experiencing a bit of an economic hiccup and the outpouring of generosity and caring of the community is simply wonderful. An onlooker may think that we are abundant and thriving in all areas observing the generosity. I believe we are and it is becoming more and more evident everyday.
Enjoy this beautiful day everyone and have fun noticing the love that abounds everywhere ❤️.

  4. I love you very much! Wonderful message. I had the same thought today. Everything will be ok. LOVE & LIGHT Ann-Kristin*

  5. Thanks for taking the time to post this, dear Pam. A beautiful WIN for all of us. Reminds me of the adage “People who say something cannot be done should get out of the way of the people who are doing it!” I feel that it’s no coincidence the moon will be shining its FULL LIGHT down on us all on Dec 25th-. Blessed be you.
    Hugs, Shoshanna

  6. I love you, Pam Grout.  Thank you so much for being the positive, inspirational person you are.  I wish your enthusiasm and ideas worked as well for me as they do for you.   Actually I’m sure that the Magic Big Good works just as well for me as it does for you.  I’m just not awake enough to see it all, and perhaps am asking for the wrong thing.  I’m learning, and that is the great thing.  I’m learning to ask for what I want, and acknowledge what I have, and keep on seeing my dreams come true.  That is the really, really good news.  Thank you for all your inspirational posts, and fond wishes for a happy, healthy Christmas season and a fabulous year ahead. The Joyful Palette  –  Art by Jaquith

  12. In the spirit of what this is all suppose to be about, I would be careful calling anyone a “dark force”. Judging is not something any of us is qualified to do. Just be the light.
