Orange you glad…this is not a knock-knock joke, but a story about magic

“Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.”
—Maya Angelou

As an adventurer on the frontiers of magic and enchantment (my self-appointed job description), I am devoted to poking holes in the veil of illusion. My pin for rending the veil is telling stories about the new paradigm, the paradigm of oneness.

It’s not a huge thing, not a Gandhi-size accomplishment, but I gotta believe that every tiny hole in the old story of separation shines a little more light and accelerates the new.

Today’s story comes from the I Can Do It! conference in Orlando. Hay House events are always magical, but this was one was OTT, to use a little textspeak.

At the Friday tribute to Wayne Dyer, Anita Moorjani told the story of how she first learned of Wayne’s passing.

A friend had come for lunch bearing flowers. She asked Anita, “What’s with the orange?”

The friend went on to explain that she’d gone to buy red roses for Anita’s cool new beachside home, but a voice, seemingly from the other side, kept telling her, “Take the orange flowers.” So she did.

Anita explained that orange was her favorite color, but she couldn’t imagine which of her already dead relative and friends would have given those instructions because well, they’d never done it before.

During lunch, Anita’s phone rings. It was Maya, Wayne’s long-time assistant. Anita knew immediately. Not only did Wayne tease her about her penchant for orange (her wallet, her cell phone cover are all orange), but he, too, had a thing for oranges, the fruit. If you’ve heard him speak in the last few years, you know he always carried one on stage.

But even cooler is that when Anita went to talk during her slot at I Can Do It!, there was an orange sitting on her table. She asked everyone she could think of (the Hay House handler, the technician, her husband Danny), but no one, at least no one in the physical world, had left it there.

Yes, my friends, magic is afoot. And the more we can give up our old stories, the more we can see and enjoy the bigger story where miracles are normal and love is all there is.

  1. Pam, I love your self appointed title! You motivated me to remember mine from long ago…” She who lives with confidence and love!”

It says so much to me and I shall carry the day forth!!

    All love, Jane

  2. LOVE that, Miss Pam!
I am ALL about the Magic and Miracles!
Have totally been feeling Wayne lately! Felt his presence the other night in a Jon of God kind of way! Have been in a lot of pain lately and to sound a little crazy in the common vernacular, or magical in the new paradigm, I felt Wayne’s presence in a healing way.
Not asking why or how, just running’ with it. Feeling oh so much better!
Thank you for all your posts! Always feel as though I am living this parallel matrix with you!
    XO

  3. Happy Monday! Keep all those stories of magic and miracles coming. They never get old! I do not text, what does OTT mean?

      1. Thank you, Laura. I was thinking “off the…?” but couldn’t figure it out. You have yourself and OTT day!

  4. Hi Pam….I recently had an experience w/ my dad, who passed in ’99.  One of the best things in my life.   I have also learned that I am an Empath, or at the very least, a HSP.  Any suggestions on what to do w/ this new found life experience? TIA!!

  5. Thank you Pam. I have started my “Team Mel” players from the non-physical and Dr. Dyer is one of them. I LOVE him – started listening and reading his works in 2005 and was blessed to get through and speak to him on his radio show a few years ago. As I read your post this morning and having asked for Dr. Dyer’s assistance more than a few times the last few days I look down on my desk and smile as I brought an orange to work today for my breakfast which I have only done once before in many years. It made me smile. I LOVE YOU DR. DYER. Thanks Pam.

  6. Thanks for attention, heads up, to the magical! We all need that and I most especially need a lift right now. Still overcoming elements of stroke, and need all the emotional uplift I can get. Prayers are asked, and all the good vibes you all can send . Bless you all!

    1. Before one of Wayne’s radio shows, I got the colour orange coming to me, and I fully got into the healing vibration of orange. I fully immersed into that vibration for a while. Then he started and, no doubt told his story about squeezing an orange. I was fairly new to his teachings. I have been experiencing the sense of orange for quite some time tonight before reading this, knowing it has to do with Wayne. I’m trying to figure what to do with my life. Then there was a sense of Wayne, and my feeling mixed feelings about yet again having ‘psychic’ conversations – now to a person in another realm! It’s been a lifelong hazard for me! I can’t get the decent ‘real’ (!) people to show up physically in life.

I have had the colour orange showing up a lot! I gave my mother a pot plant which had orange blossoms on it, when I would have chosen pink, as one of her 85th birthday gifts, during the week before Wayne passed. Although I did not see her.
A brand new portable wifi modem – I was given the one which has an orange border to it, not the pink border.

Pam, I listened to your interview during the Hay House World Summit in 2015, since I had heard so much about your books. Today, of all days, I was thinking about what you had said in that interview! 🙂

One point was kind of, if we are attuned to and expecting to be seeing miracles, we will see that which we previously we might have missed.

Then I saw this post on Anita Moorjani’s Facebook page!
Well, that orange on the desk was most deserved by Anita Moorjani, and was definately an out of the ordinary orange. 🍊
No doubt it was also non GMO 😉

It wasn’t comparable to the two examples of the orange flowered pot plant and the wifi modem, which I might have noticed because the colour orange has been showing up a lot for me lately!

      Blessings ~

  7. LOVE this! I, too, have an orange cell phone case, which came with my phone. It’s not my usual favorite color, but somehow it made me happy, so I kept it. I also keep an orange on my desk and when I get into a slump I peel it and the smell instantly perks me up!

    Non GMO, I’m sure! 😉

Nothing like the above two examples, where I might have noticed the orange flowered pot plant and wifi modem, because of all the ‘orange’ that has been showing up for me lately. Blessings

  9. Okay…to continue with the Orange theme….

I went to the health food store and out jumps ORANGE essential oil (I had not seen on previous visits)….which in aromatherapy is like a big Universal hug. I had to buy it especially Today!!! Hello Wayne….and thanks for keeping this going!

  10. Beautiful..I know that Wayne is and will change this world with stories like this like no other soul has ever done in our life time. Like I told you in my email last week, he literally was with me every second I read I Can See Clearly Now!!! Yes for sure and with me and helped me also heal my broken foot while reading it also with beautiful comments on healing in the book. I also want to add that Pam you are doing a great job and continue to give us your beautiful stories.

  11. I just read your orange story… For the past little bit I’ve been having some issues with family… Minor yet upsetting. Yesterday I was at work & one of the women that come in to help brought me in a huge bunch of sweetpeas… A reminder of my grand mother., although I learned that my grandfather grew them…I took it as a sign from them that things will be ok, that I need to trust divine workings!
    To sweetpeas & oranges ☺️

  12. Right before I read your post, Pam, I just had a hankering for a big ol’ glass of orange juice. Yep, sipping away here on soul-quenching, thirst-quenching joy! Thank you!

  13. That was a beautiful story, and reminded me of how Cissy Houston stated that Whitney promised to visit upon her return from California. As we all know, she passed and couldn’t bring that promise to fruitation. Her mother stated that her door bell rung several times that day; however, no physical body was at the door. She even contacted the doorman to inquire if he let anyone up to her unit. All of this happened prior to her knowing of her daughter’s passing. She believed her daughter was saying her goodbye before leaving this realm. She suddenly felt depressed and was crying all day with no reason.
They never leave us, just take a different capacity in our lives with no physical body presence.
