Why I’m a whole lot richer than Donald Trump

“Molecules obey your thoughts, you know.”–Carlos Santana

I didn’t make Forbes’ list of billionaires this year. Doubtful, I’ll make it next year either. But I do know a secret that makes me deserving of the list.

I know with complete certainty that the world is limitless, abundant and strangely-accommodating. I also know that anything I could ever need or want is as easy to manifest as plugging in the toaster.

This Thursday, for example, I’m flying to Florida to hang out with Anita Moorjani, Bruce Lipton, Nick Ortner, Mike Dooley and lots of other inspiring peeps. Next month, I’m flying to Japan to visit Tokyo and Kyoto and to speak to 2000 young Japanese at the Universal Share Project. I can guarantee we will uplift the planet.

Those billionaires? I doubt they could spare the time.

In fact, the only difference between me and “The Donald” is I choose not to carry my riches around. It’s comforting to know that anything I could ever want to do is available to me, but why flaunt it or drag around a bunch of material baggage?

In fact, I’d like to argue that amassing $7 billion, the dollar amount Trump claims to be worth, is not that different than hoarding old newspapers, leaky buckets and all the other junk collecting in the homes of the dysfunctional folks we watch on the A&E show, “Hoarders.”

No, my role model is Peace Pilgrim who, when she was very young, made an important discovery: “Making money is easy.”

Which is why she could give up her earthly possessions and walk around the world with nothing but the clothes on her back. As she said about her 28-year-old journey, “Life is full. Life is good. I have a feeling of always being surrounded by all of the good things, like love and peace and joy. It’s like a protective surrounding.”

That’s all anyone really needs. To know with sure conviction that “the world is limitless, abundant and strangely accommodating.”

It’s not the “stuff” you want. Jesus could never have brought Lazarus back to life and multiplied all those fishes and loaves if he’d been preoccupied by the desire for a beachside residence.

That said, I do not want to make you feel guilty for wanting a big home in Malibu. There is not one thing wrong with a big home in Malibu. Or anything else you want. Want it. Walk toward it with all your heart and might. Just know that there are higher rungs. And know that most people hoard material things out of fear. And fear, after all, is what we’re attempting to move away from.

  1. Oh, Pam. I just *love* this post + who you are. While I was reading this, I kept thinking, “me, too!” Me, too that I feel so wealthy because my life is full of really amazing, loving, fun people and experiences. Me, too because I have the time to write thank you letters and leave pik-me-up messages for friends + strangers. Me, too because I see the beauty of the tiny cherry blossom flower like a little pink tutu’d dancer, braving to leap into life at such an unexpected time of year. Your writings are always such a delight. Your humor + mindfulness + abundance mentality are certainly infectious. Wow, am I grateful you had the courage to follow your inspirations to write/teach. Gratitude.

  2. I tried the experiments but didn’t get any results 🙁

Any help or guides would be great on your website. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

    Love the book!

    Best regards

  3. Hey Pam!!
Know what I love–that “that power” to grow abundance is already in me, and you and all of us!! Just gotta tap-into-it!! And my minister shared something very special on this very thought….when I carry that consciousness of Abundance with me, I am actually inviting others to feel their ‘s, too!!

    Abundantly yours ,
    Donna, aka, Mermy

You, my dear, send the absolute most inspiring messages. Many thanks.

    1. So happy to hear you’re inspired by my message. As I always like to say, “There are just two things we need to know. The universe has our back. And everything’s going to be okay.”

  5. Pam-I just found your book E-Squared last week and have been having so much fun doing the experiments. The car one for example I was thinking about blue cars and went outside and I saw 30 blue cars in the span of 25 minutes while I was on a walk, crazy! 🙂 Anyway, love your writing and I feel a special kinship with you because I am from KS (but just moved to California so sadly not there anymore!). Anyway, love you work!

    1. The only way I’d ever want to be a billionaire is if EVERYONE on the planet is also a billionaire. In my mind, we all are. We just don’t know it. Yet.

  6. Pam,

I have been reading, and re-reading, and re-reading your books so many times! Actually, I bought your books on kindle first, but also ordered the paperback versions of the same set of books because just having your books in my room uplifts me so much!

I checked the Universal Share Project site but they were only selling the tickets for your Tokyo seminars.
When will you be in the Kyoto area?
I just cannot miss this chance to see you in person!

      1. Thanks for answering, Pam! I will try my best to make it to Tokyo, and have fun in Kyoto! If there is anything I can do for you while you are here, please let me know. It is really amazing that your experiments work when it is most unexpected. I had been looking for a purple feather, and, guess what? A car with a number plate 222 passed by! As you say, F.P. likes surprises and humor.

  7. Absolutely!, I totally get it, that The Donald is so afraid of having nothing, that he has to have so much. I’d venture to say that the value of his dollars worth is probably proportional to his level of fear; as with horders. Knowing you can have what you need, when you need it, is my definition of freedom. And not having to lug it around all the time is priceless!

  8. Pam, You are also a whole lot cooler, nicer, smarter, wiser, and better looking than Donald Trump. He has never inspired me, and you inspire me every day. In my mind, you are much more powerful than he is (because you inspire and teach us that we all are that powerful). He wants all the money and power for himself.
Thanks, as always, for the ray of sunshine you bring to all of us.

  9. Just when i tell my son a psychic medium how cool you are, and he tells me how much he’s enjoying your E2 book in our ministerial class, you write more cool stuff, and you just get cooler and cooler. You must be freezing by now.
Enjoy the Tokyo kids and your travels. We’ll hold the consciousness for you here.
    Xoxo

  10. I looked at the clouds in the sky today and felt such deep gratitude and emotion that I cried. There is the strange feeling of standing on the edge or the Earth here in Australia. The sky seems so very big and magical. What more happiness could I want.

  11. Dear Pam

I was introduced to you and your book E-squared purely by chance, scrolling through Instagram one day, I happened upon a post by “You are Creators”! They had posted a page from your book, the visualisation exercise (feather).

I decided to give it a try, why not??? I live approximately 6 hours from the nearest ocean, was about a year into a messy divorce, was therefore strapped for cash. I visualised an orange starfish, knowing I wouldn’t be able to get to the ocean any time soon. I focused on it for a week or so and then forgot about it. Lo and behold my boyfriend some 6 months later calls to tell me he had won a trip to Kenya. Still didn’t think about my starfish, until we were on a boat, getting ready to snorkel and our guide pops up right next to me and passes me an orange starfish. (pic attached) WOW, was so blown away!! Since then I have bought both your book E squared /3 books.

I have been very unsure about my relationship and overthink everything, YIP that’s me!! I have been asking the universe, please send me a sign if my boyfriend is the right guy for me and if I should pursue the relationship, having been through a divorce has made me rather skittish when it comes to relationships. Then I get your blog newsletter this morning and BAM……Forbes magazine!!! My boyfriend’s name is Andrew Forbes…hahah.

Really excited to buy your next book….they have literally changed my life…even though I am a work in progress…I expect great things for my life, I even have pictures of my black & gold cocker spaniels that I will get in future, (Charlie & Lola).

    Take Care

    Jess

  12. Thank You Pam! Your words are inspiring…you are one of my favorite authors…thanks for being you and putting words together that can make me laugh, make me think and touch my heart. Much Love!!

  13. Beautiful! Mao many of us are seeking some “treasure” out there and completely lose sight of the treasure we already have hidden inside of us! Good reminder of our infinite potential. Thanks for this post!

  14. An interesting point of view… I was also thinking about this one recently. Being happy because you can manifest anything you desire vs. in fact reaching out and taking it. To me the best way is mixing up the two. I mean, the first thing for me is to be happy knowing that yes, I can manifest anything I could ever want, but on the other other hand, this knowledge in itself is basically worthless unless you really put it into action. Of course, I try to avoid chasing material stuff like an idiot, but I think it’s good to manifest a big home in Malibu from time to time 🙂
