5 reasons I adore Russell Brand

“Anyone that galvanizes people and points us to the better aspects of ourselves is worthy of being a hero.”—Russell Brand

Top reasons to love Russell Brand:

5. He pals around with the Dalai Lama.
4. He passes out hugs to prevent road rage.
3. He meditates.
2. He’s authentic, has huge cojones (I mean, what other dude would have the nerve to call his memoir, Bookywooky?) and he’s using his life to change the dominant paradigm.
1. This fab video below says it all:

Pam Grout is the author of 17 books including E-Squared: 9 Do-it-Yourself Energy Experiments that Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality and the soon-to-be-released sequel, E-Cubed, 9 More Experiments that Prove Mirth, Magic and Merriment is your Full-time Gig.

  1. I see evidence that Russell is really growing as a person. Yes, he has done some atrocious things but hopefully he is healing from all of that. He is bipolar and his Dad left at an early age and he learned some strange ways of dealing with women. Hopefully all that is past. He’s also the funniest person I know of. I never miss him on a talk show.

  2. Hi Pam!

I love your stuff, thank you!!  I so resonate.

I think perhaps the vid link is missing on today’s blog, just wanted to mention.  Unless I’m not seeing it.

THANK YOU!  Have a fun day! julie

  3. Is it any wonder that he looks like what most of us have been taught Jesus looked like??? Watching this video just changed my life. Thank you!!!

  4. I saw the video just fine. He’s quite passionate about what he’s discovered. I’ve know that for quite a while but have become quieter about it. Everyone has to be ready at their own pace. “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear”. Hopefully there are ears opening up daily and because people are interested in him, they will hear. I wish him well and a grand journey. Thank you for sharing this.

  5. Would have loved to watch the video (I, too, Love Russel Brand), but there was no link! So sad,

  6. Pam…..I am sooooo out of the loop on recent movies etc so I really have no clear idea of who this dude is….but I love the stuff you write and how you think so I watched.

    LOVE!

Its fun to listen to someone who talks faster than I DO espouse all that awesomeness that I totally agree with.

Thanks for sharing. I am smiling!

  7. Hello there! I could have sworn I’ve visited your blog before
but after looking at some of the articles I realized it’s
new to me. Anyways, I’m certainly delighted I stumbled upon it and I’ll be book-marking it and checking
    back regularly!
