The unequivocal call to love

“I began to see myself as God saw me, which was a very different picture than the one I had of myself. It produced in me a vibrant feeling, as though a strong current of life had suddenly been poured into me.”—Frank Buchman

So people are starting to ask. What is it exactly you’re doing to connect to this Voice that is bringing you so much pleasure?

It’s pretty simple and I’ll definitely fill you all in. In fact, if anybody here wants to participate in a 30-day experiment, by all means let me know.

The bottom line is I’m listening to a Voice that’s a whole lot smarter than I am. I sorta keep this practice on the downlow, because well, my culture regards listening to a disembodied voice as batsh*t crazy.

All I can say, to paraphrase the song, “If loving you is wrong, I don’t want to be right? is I’m blissfully okay with that title.

When you really think about it, we listen to voices ALL of the time. The soundtrack we normally subscribe to comes from our brain and tells us how scary life is and how unworthy we are. And nobody blinks an eye when you listen to that voice’s monologue.

What I’m listening to is a whole different message. A message that’s restoring my faith in myself and in the world and in what the future might entail.

The guidance I’m getting is STOP! Quit seeking. It’s all right here.

I’ll be speaking to someone next week who has been practicing what I’m practicing for some 30-40 years.  And, after that, I will definitely “share my toys.”

Until then, my favorite online soul mates, I see you having the very best weekend of your life.

In love, in gratitude, in the peace that reigns within.
