“God looks like Z.Z. Top” and other annoying myths: where we learn we are badly misinformed.

“Suppose we’ve chosen the wrong god. Every time we go to church we’re just making him madder and madder.”—Homer Simpson

If you’re thinking about getting this book, here’s the deal. It’s out of print. In fact, I revamped it and sold it to Hay House (who had a much better appreciation for it) as E-Squared. So, fair warning, if you’ve already read E-Squared, don’t try to find a copy of this book which is still available in some circles.

The one and only thing I like better about this book (than it’s new incarnation as E-Squared) is Page 35.

Here’s what that page says:

“Before we get started, I need to ask you a favor. It’s a simple favor, won’t cost you a penny, and it takes all of three second to perform.

Ready?

I’d like you to please rip this page out of the book.

On the back side of that page it reads:

Uh..not that I’m all-seeing or anything, but it appears to me that the page I asked you to rip out is still attached.

Why?

Could it be you’ve been conditioned to believe that “good people” do NOT rip pages out of books? Is it possible you’ve been taught that books are for reading and that one of your responsibilities as a good, law-abiding citizen, is to keep your books clean and free of smudges?

As I can say is your mother would be proud.

But what I’m saying is the page I’ve politely asked you to tear out is of absolutely no value, says nothing of any importance, and is totally and irrefutably irrelevant to the contents of this book.

Except for one thing, it demonstrates a principle this book is going to repeat over and over again. You and all humans like you have learned a lot of lessons in life that are getting in your way. You have picked up a lot of information that doesn’t serve you.

You’re educated about a lot of things that aren’t true, and in fact, are actually keeping you from becoming all you are capable of being.

It also demonstrates the one thing that makes this book different than any book you have read before. The message is not in the printed type on these pages. The message is in you. And the only way you’re going to get the message is by getting up off you kiester and doing the experiment exactly as I instruct you. Now, would you please do me a favor and rip this damned page out of the book?
