Just another day to love and serve

“It’s the best possible time to be alive, when almost everything you thought you knew is wrong.”—Tom Stoppard 00001e

Medical peeps are doing their thing. Delivery services, grocery stores and governments are doing theirs.

My “thing” has always been overturning consensus reality. Offering a story that’s different than what we’ve long believed. Some people call these miracles.

At very least, these stories beg the question: Is it really true things are scary now? Is it really true we’re in danger?

Things aren’t always as they appear. A Course in Miracles, in fact, proposes a revolutionary overhaul of ALL our beliefs. It wages an outright challenge to the fundamental nature of reality.

For those who are reading along in my new ACIM book, you probably noticed today’s lesson tells the story of SARK who, after affirming “Miracle find me now,” was walking in San Francisco, where she lives, and six $100 bills floated down to her out of nowhere.

But that’s impossible, consensus reality insists.

But is it really?

In my world, “impossible things” happen all the time. Here are three recent examples:

1. A new friend of mine, also a Course student, knows that nothing real can ever be lost, that nothing that’s truly ours can ever be gone.  A few years ago, she seemed to have lost a treasured ring. It had been her grandmother’s ring and, well, she really, really loved it. A few weeks ago, she walked into her apartment and there, lying on the rug by the front door, was her grandmother’s ring. Two years, guys!

2. Just this morning, I was talking to my long-time friend from Florida. She worked part-time for awhile at Whole Foods and couldn’t help but notice the tattoos and many hues of her younger co-workers’ hair. She decided it might be fun to have purple hair. She has always been a manifesting maestro, but even I was surprised when she told me that, out of the blue**, her hair started turning purple. Her powerful thoughts alone turned her hair purple. And, no, she didn’t dye it.

3. Lisa Natoli, my Omega co-leader for the “All Heaven Will Break Loose” workshop, says unexpected money is coming to her like crazy. For example, she just received a several hundred-dollar check from Kohl’s. Out of the blue.** As she said, “I haven’t stepped foot in Kohl’s for five or six years.” If you haven’t read her FB post about “Coronavirus being no different than anything else,” you should definitely check it out here.

I know there’s a lot of messaging out there that makes the world seem less than miraculous. But just remember, my friends, that most of what we hear about the economy,  our health, about life in general is a story. It’s a malleable, ever-changing story. And we have the power to change it.

As I often say on Fridays, “Have the very best weekend of your life.” It is, after all, up to you.

**Another synonym for God

    1. I’ve been thinking how we live on so many levels. On one level, I’m diligently being a superhero by staying home, isolating per CDC guidelines. But on the bigger level, the one that excites me the most, I’m diligently spreading a virus of love.

  2. Thank you for reminding us to see things differently. I refuse to give in to fear and panic. I am trying to use this time to bond with family, rest and recharge, slow down a bit. And you are absolutely right about lost things- my husband has lost a wallet with documents, credit cards and 400 dollars in cash, nowhere to be found. It turned up a year later in his doctors office, it slipped out of his pocket and was stuck in the couch in the waiting room, with everything in it.

      1. I have a similar story of a loved lost item. I was working at a ski resort and left my snowboard out late on the racks…. When I went to retrieve it, it was gone. Searched for it everywhere, reported it to security and plastered signs up saying lost item for the following days and weeks. I loved it dearly, it was my first one I owned and kept thinking it will show up. My friend the naysayer kept responding with “let it go, it’s gone”.

One year later, near the end of my second season there. I was outside and spotted it on the ski racks. A girl had bought it online but turns out it was mine (unique quirks and all) and the security guys retrieved it for me. xD

  3. Dear Pam,

  4. I just love this Pam. I believe in the better angels, always. I know Love always leads the way. I believe in Love, especially now. 💜

  5. Pam there is no word for you but AWESOME! Thank you so much for uplifting everyone who crosses your path! And there are many of us. I especially needed this today! XX

  6. I love my cousin’s story. In college she was dating a guy, and they really liked each other. However, they went their separate ways and married other people. Over the many years, both of their spouses died. His wife was always a bit jealous of my cousin. One day he went to his sock drawer and there on the top of his socks was a letter my cousin had written him when they were in college. He did some investigating, found her and they married. They spent several happy years together before he finally transitioned a year ago.

  7. Hi Pam! It’s not like me to write to folks I admire for fear I’d sound ridiculous or be overly gushing about their influence on me.  However, I wanted to write to you to let you know how much I do admire and appreciate you and all of the work you’ve put into the world.  I’ve been a fan for years, but have recently re-visited your E2 and E3 books, along with Thank and Grow Rich.  This was all after I finished reading (twice in a row!!) your Course in Miracles Experiment. Despite my trying hard to not consume mainstream media, it does seep into my awareness.  I know how serious this pandemic is and that many have lost their lives.  But I can’t help but feel so lucky to be able to shelter in place and be together during this time.  Honestly, I am grateful for the time that this pandemic has given me at home with my family.  Both my husband and I are able to work at home and our kids are doing well with their online schooling.  I have also found myself slowing down and being able to spend some time creating versus consuming.

I have been given an opportunity to teach at a brand-new healing arts center near my home on Cape Cod (whenever they get the green light to have their grand opening).  I am thrilled that this came about through a friend because I have been feeling the pull to teach for a while.  Although, until very recently, I had no idea WHAT to teach.  And that’s where you come in.   🙂 I began researching by going back through all of the teachers and books and material that has helped me on my own journey.  Interestingly, I pulled up some notes of mine from years ago and found that I already had a red folder titled “Gratitude” with snippets of notes and ideas for this very class!  Maybe I just wasn’t ready to move forward back then.  But now, I feel like it is time.  And I ain’t getting any younger.  🙂   What I love about your work, among other things, is how light and fun and playful it is.  I have found throughout my journey navigating the self-help world that it can be overwhelming, confusing and sometimes discouraging.  I found myself trying and failing at various things….until I decided that there was nothing I needed to fix.  Anyway…I digress…. I have come up with a couple of options for this class:  maybe “Radical Gratitude” or “Radiant Gratitude,” I’m still undecided.  But I would love to use your books as a part of the reference material for the class with the hope that this class could naturally become a “possibility posse.”

I’m hoping you’ll be okay with all of this.  🙂  I really wanted to THANK YOU for being a light for me when I needed one.  I would like to do the same for others. I hope that you continue to be safe and well throughout this pandemic….thanks for the continued social media posts and emails.   With lots of love & gratitude,Shannon Kelly

    1. Dear sweet Shannon, I am so honored and so happy you took the time to share your thoughts. It truly makes my day. Like everyone, I want to believe I’m making some kind of difference. So it warms the cockles of my heart. Hmmm. What are cockles of the heart? Anyway, YES! YES! YES! I’d love you to use my books as reference material. My words are free to share with anyone .Love, love, love, love!!!

  8. Thankyou Pam. Like many others here, I needed this message today. I love the SARK story, and all those other examples of “impossible” things, and I feel inspired to blast the current “reality” with my laser gun of love! 😁
Thankyou for reminding us of what is truly real. 🙏💖👍🏻🌸💙

  9. Pam…..I so so love your book, a miracle in itself. Ever grateful for you publishing it. My book arrived later after it was published…..can someone tell me which # lesson this is today? ……not up to speed yet. With gratitude 🙂 Now I am off to the forest and beach to claim my miracle of a day. Hugs and love to you all xox

    1. I always start ACIM workbook on January 1. I love thinking that I’m doing that day’s lesson along with lots of people around the globe. So today’s lesson was part of a review. ACIM 87.

      1. Sooooooooooooo !!! shall I jump ahead to that??? It kinda co ordinates with you? Are you reading your book….or the the full one ??

  10. Howdy Pam! I’m on Lesson #59 Under House Arrest! Isn’t it ironic, don’t ya think 🤔!!
I’m thinking maybe I’ll continue the lessons in order but also read the lesson for the actual day as well…as if I started it January 1st. Since I’m brand new to ACIM, do you think that would be confusing? Either way, I have to say I’m loving this! 💪🤓❤️📚

  11. Classes at my art studio school are closed til Apr 24, so I have the whole huge studio to myself to romp around in and create art projects! I now have a project on every table and I’m having fun making some youtube videos of creative projects that folks can do with stuff they have at home, my most recent one includes a list of positive affirmations, and I am getting great feedback.

When looking at “ordinary reality,” well, it is not immediately apparent where the money for my monthly business expenses will come from, but my inner guidance is that it will be ok, so I have joyfully intrigued myself with catching up on my own projects.

Today there was an envelope with my initials on it in my mailbox. The card inside said, “You’ve got to admire them – setting off on a journey of no less than a thousand miles on only a wing and a prayer. Yet make it, they will.” Inside it said, “And so will you.” No name or markings, but $222 in cash! And another of my students dropped by today with a gift of a huge box of things I had been unable to shop for, as I have had a knee issue: I was never so happy to get hand sanitizer, cleaning wipes, paper towels, toilet paper and disposable gloves! WOWEE, like Christmas around here today, and I am eagerly anticipating more…

    1. You are so spot on with this post! I’ve been having the same thoughts. Are things as bad as people say? No. I felt guilty for thinking that way. No more.

  12. I just discovered E2 . And started ACIM experiment. It has made and continues to change my life every day. A life I knew I was suppose to have but was afraid maybe the people that were in my life were right and like them I too had no value. I am blessed for the miracle Of you which I needed at this time to forge forward. Thanks

  13. I really appreciate your emails. I’m studying a new page in your Course in Miracles Experiment every day and I have alarms set on my phone to recalibrate my mind every hour and a half. It’s a blessing and a fresh new way of really living. Many thanks xo

  14. With you each day at 2:22 pm in prayer for our world.
Blessed to be safe on Long Island, New York . Grateful for the leadership and
Calm center that Mario Cuomo guides us from. Looking forward to watching the healing unfold Pam.
Love from the cockles of my heart sister in spirit ..lol

  15. Pam,

I hope you realize how much you are loved and appreciated for the words you share.

I am on a 40 day social media fast and doing the Lisa Natoli program you shared on Facebook.

I wonder if I can even return to social media despite all the good accounts like yours that I follow… I grow tired of all the noise and find offline Life is way more delicious.

I don’t know if you have days or moments when the masses sharing the panic/fear stories online get on your nerves or not? Maybe you have days where you’d rather shut the world out and not write your blog??

Please know that each time you show up and write about how amazing and ridiculously abundant/kind/accommodating Life is… it is a gift to the world and we all love and appreciate it.

Thank you for being the wonderful lightworker you are and I look forward to experiencing your awesomeness in person someday at a live event.

    Thank you!!! Hastie
