Something extraordinarily epic is going to happen to you today

The joy,
Of seeing God

A Course in Miracles is about developing a different operating system, about hooking into a powerful broadband frequency through which blessings can freely flow.

Today, according to ACIM Lesson 123, is a day to celebrate how far we’ve come. It’s a day devoted to my main jam: gratitude.

So to honor all the gifts, signs and blessings the universe is constantly trying to bestow, here are a couple recent stories from my trusty inbox:

1. “I love your books and was working with Experiment #2 in E-Squared – actively looking for something specific. I chose Unicorns because I say I live in a Rainbow, Puppy Dog and Unicorn World!

“As we were driving out of the restaurant parking lot, across from a Party City, a woman walks out of the store with a Pinata – a Unicorn Pinata!!!! Thank you Universe…

“This was actually a small (and huge) confirmation – I had already asked the Universe how I could get my kitchen remodeled…. and now we are in the middle of getting new countertops, tile floor and backsplash due to a “small” water leak in a cabinet next to our refrigerator – I’m excited to see how the universe includes new appliances in the package!”

2. “Just before Easter of this year I asked the Universe for a gift. I was at a somewhat low point and so didn’t ask as boldly as I might have; fortunately, the forces that be realized I needed a showstopper.

“As a child a wonderful woman who was a lifelong friend of my parents came from the northeast to visit a few times each year. From my rural southern vantage point, Patsy was the epitome of sophistication and beauty and she showered love and attention on this shy skinny kid. I saw her regularly until around 15 years ago when she became unable to travel. Patsy always gave lovely presents and one of the last times I saw her she gave me a pair of beautiful ceramic earrings made by an area artist and evocative of purple spring flowers. Through the transitions of the years they slipped away from my possession but I recently came across the exact same earrings, still in the original box with the artist information, at a second-hand store. It felt like Patsy had come for a visit and I was somehow unsurprised that the first thing I saw the next morning was a message from her son saying that she had died during the night.

“I am so thankful to Patsy for always staying close. The reminder that time and distance are meaningless in a universe where love travels without bounds is a gift of the greatest magnitude.”

Thanks, my friends, for sharing all your magnificent blessings. As I like to say, it’s the only conversation worth having.

  1. I was thinking about “something extraordinary epic is going to happen to me today,”

And realized I may not see it today.

For over ten years, I operated a beloved theatre company. I’ve received countless messages and heartfelt thanks for “changing” peoples lives. It was a magical space. Which lead me to this thought, on the day I had the idea to open a theatre, the performers whose lives changed by being a part of the company didn’t know I was creating this space until it was in form. But if you were to take an overview look and see where they were on the day I had the idea, that’s the real day their lives changed.

My point, even if it doesn’t look like today is extraordinary, I’m reminding myself I can’t see everything and something is being said, created, planned and is traveling my way today and that feels extraordinary!

Much love and thanks to you, Victoria Buda

    2. Love your story, Victoria Buda. Your story reminded me of some events in my life and the original thought that brought them into reality. Thank you.

  2. Although I was only the conduit, I needed to share this. Two friends, sisters-in-law, lost their daughter/niece tragically about 3 years ago. It has been very difficult for the two parents to get over this loss.
A couple of months ago, the aunt invited herself to my place for the weekend. I spend much time at her home and it’s very rare she comes to visit, let alone at her request. That On the Saturday my daughter phone. It is rare that she will phone me and even rarer that I will pick up the phone when she does. So, when my friend heard me tell my daughter that I was NOT taking any of her new kittens, she told me her sister-in-law had been looking for a kitten. Long story short, I called the sister-in-law, she called my daughter and the following weekend went to pick up her new kitten. For the first time since her daughter died, she started to come back to herself. Amazing the way the FP works.

  4. I love your posts, Pam. Thank you for sharing your journey and inspiring our own. I do have a question: what is the best way to not allow others to poop on your positivity party? Especially those of us who are married to a spouse that may not believe in abundance?

  5. Just after Easter, we had a young man come over to take down some dead trees on our property. He did an awesome job, but was unable to remove the trees and branches and said he’d return the next day. Well, he didn’t but I did receive a couple of calls saying ‘tomorrow’ or ‘2pm today’ but always a no show. It didn’t bother me at first since we had an unexpected spring snow storm and the large brush pile provided nice shelter for the very confused Robins. But one morning I got up and for some reason that big pile made me feel restless. I called the young man (twice) and asked for a call back. Nothing. Throughout the day I began to notice branch piles on various curbs around the neighborhood so I decided to check our city directory. I found out that there was going to be a branch pick up the very next day! My husband and I got all the brush out to the curb and the next day…gone. So, Spirit got me focused on the brush pile, showed me branches on the curbs, and helped me find the directory all in time for the next day’s pick up. This kind of thing happens all the time so no one can ever tell me that the Universe doesn’t have my back…you just have to tune in to the signs! 🙂

  9. Our white miniature schnauzer, Maggie, gave birth to four puppies today. So, yes, something extraordinarily epic happened to us today. We put our John of God Crystal Bed over the mother and puppies. And we are so grateful for the puppies and all the love we feel from the universe.

  10. Hi Pam,

I love reading all your posts and wanted to mention a fun thing that happened to me today.   For the past two weeks I have been actively asking the Universe to send me a sighting of a beautiful bird, resident here in South Africa.   It’s called the African Hoopoe and it is remarkable for it’s long decurved bill and long black tipped crest and beautiful colors of cinnamon with black and white wings.    I have seen one in the past but today the Universe delivered an imitation one – sitting up in a tree where I am presently doggie-sitting.   I have been here now for the past 4 days and only noticed it today just after I had given the Universe a bit of a shake up to say `Where is my African Hoopoe’?   So it’s turned up and just goes to show me that The Universe does have my back also has a great sense of humour!

Thank you for all the inspiration you pass onto us.
