Well, duh!

I suppose it was inevitable. That I was going to fall in love with Ajijic and that I would be invited on epic adventures.

Beings as I rank rather high on the woo-woo spectrum, I was asked yesterday to join a group of women who were driving to Foco Tonal, an energy vortex about an hour’s drive from the community. And, yes, there was a shaman and the perfect interpreter (who just “happened” to be there) to explain how the ascended masters send powerful energy to this particular spot on the planet.

We (my new best friends—I love how everyone’s your best friend when you’re open) all buzzed and vibrated and felt such joy that we were together and that this was happening. We ended the night drinking margaritas at a Tiki bar on the beach near shirtless men fishing, kids splashing and dogs romping in the surf. Yes, it was an extraordinarly epic day.

ACIM Lesson 82 reminds me that my function is to let go of everything I believe. And that when I do, the perfect people will show up and the perfect days will unfurl before me.

I was also reminded yesterday at the morning meditation (we gather every morning at 9:30) of one of the most powerful proclamations that we send out into the world thousands of times a day.

I AM_____________.

According to James Twyman (who started this community), I AM is the name of God and that whatever we attach to it (I am miserable, for example or I am overweight or I am tired) invokes the power of the Big Kahuna.

Here’s what is going to follow my I AM for today:

I AM joyful.
I AM peace.
I AM the light of the world.

  3. Thank you. On a related note, I always tell my three-year-old gr daughter (and write in cards to her), “You are brave; you are smart and you are loved” so that when she thinks about it or repeats it, it comes back to her as “I am brave; I am smart and I am loved.”

    And by wealth of course I mean money. But more than that…..joy love laughs miracles smiles knowledge angels health rapture peace & more of the stuff that is for the higher good of every tiny little fragment of every universe that ever was – is now – or will ever be. We are one!

    This reminds me of the time I was in a circle of women and when it was my turn to answer I am ______, tears were rolling down my face so I could only answer I AM. And as I type this, the tears flow again. Thank you, Pam, for continuing this journey of sharing the Course of Miracles with us.

    This is my first time commenting, but I just want you to know how much I am enjoying your messages and this group every day. Thank you, Pam!
    Here we are on the second set of review lessons. I have started the lessons three or four times in the past, I never even knew there were review lessons. This is the furthest I have ever made it, and I know that is thanks to you and your inspiring messages. I get up early, 4 a.m., so I have already done my morning readings and am off to work before your message comes. I have to go through the day with my own interpretation of the lesson, but so look forward to getting home in the afternoon or evening and reading your take on things. Always inspiring! I feel a real excitement about the lessons and what we are all learning. There is very powerful teaching going on here! Thank you, thank you, thank you. <3

    Thankyou Pam for inviting us to share our “I AM” lists with you. This was a very powerful – and fun- exercise and I think it might be something I do each day over my morning cup of tea or in meditation 😊 And I just loved reading everybody else’s lists too.     I wrote to you about a year ago and I was really surprised that you responded within 24 hours … I didn’t expect a reply at all!! … J …

    The thought that resonates deep within me … and has the most calming effect, is .. ‘I am nothing’!!! …….. that might sound a bit strange, but when I meditate on that thought, it allows me to mentally ‘ step back’ from all the ‘chatter’ that goes on in my mind …..and it ‘unclutters’ ( if that is a real word!!) and clarifies my sense of self ..

    It doesn’t confuse my sense of identity … rather it instantly peels back all the ‘ onion rings’ that buried it in the first place……….

    Weird! .. I know!! …..but it works for me!!

    Come to Australia!! …. Your sense of humour would fit right in!!! …. J …. And we make pretty good margaritas here as well!! … J..

I am loving my new rainbow colored fingernails… Inspired by your book I am amazed at how life can be so easy and magical if I just get out of the way and enjoy it I am on fire with new beginnings I am in a state of grace I am so happy my angels show up for me in different outfits (they are quite the colorful dressers)
