Reset your frequency

“May I waste my heart on fear no longer.”—John O’Donohueeye

Ask anyone. It’s our eyes that enable us to see.

A Course in Miracles begs to differ. It tells me that what I see is a choice. The visual details received and processed by my eyes are a direct result of my thoughts and beliefs.

ACIM Lesson 34 is “I could see peace instead of this.”

My perception of the world, it tells me, comes from my mind.

And while I’d never dream of walking into a department store, picking out the ugliest dress and taking it to counter, I have to wonder why I sometimes pick the ugliest thought and not only carry it to the counter, but put it on (complete with matching shoes) and “wear it” for hours at a time.

My thoughts are like a stream—they just keep on floating by. I’m the only one who can pick which ones to collect in my bucket. Today, I think I’ll let them keep floating and choose to have an extraordinarily epic day instead.

Have the best Saturday of your lives, my friends!

  1. Fantastic! “My thoughts are like a stream—they just keep on floating by. I’m the only one who can pick which ones to collect in my bucket. Today, I think I’ll let them keep floating and choose to have an extraordinarily epic day instead.” Yes! Thank you.

  2. Pam, thank you sooooo much for posting such lovely facts! Thank you so much for the lessons. I am printing each one and sitting on the porch, reading them and thinking about them. I love the course in Miracles. But it is hard reading! You make it so simple! Thank you! What energy you have to keep on posting daily! I appreciate you so much. Just want you to know your efforts are not in vain!

  3. Everything is in our imagination. We are each our own personal Designer of Reality. Therefore we should intend to keep on designing wonderful days for ourselves. Some of the fun we are having is also sure to cheer a few others around us. Pam, if you have a chance, take a look at DesignerOfReality.com – you are one of the cast of characters there. Cheers!

    Love it! Yes..that makes so much sense.

  5. Pam you sure do have an amazing gift! Your way with words is extraordinary actually because you’re able to make the trickiest lesson make sense by using a simple or fun example we can easily relate to. I love the “ugliest dress” concept. It’s the best example I’ve ever heard for how silly it is to choose to “wear” an ugly thought. Fabulous. Thankyou to infinity and beyond!😉👗✅💟

  6. So love your posts! Thank you for making things so positive and so easy to see.
    Thanks you, Thanks you. Please keep it going!!!

  7. Thank you, Pam. I never thought I would enjoy the course of miracles…but I LOVE it with your explanations and comments. I especially resonate with this one about frequency.

  8. Didn’t get to read this one until today (Sunday) but let me tell you that once again it was exactly what I needed! I try to avoid too much ‘news’ but every once in awhile something get through and ‘attaches’ itself to my consciousness and I feel my energy draining. This is a great reminder not to put the sweater on! Certain thoughts are like Kryptonite and I need to let them just pass by. Thank you for the reminder and the great analogy!

  9. Thank you Pam for your post.
    This quote you start with, “May I waste my heart on fear no longer.”, has deep meaning to me.
    You see, the world has certainly been ugly in my eyes for many years in past. I hated what I saw was happening around me and it made me scared, pessimistic, depressed and left me feeling like I didn’t want to exist.
    But what I didn’t know is that reality is not what I’ve been thinking it was. I wasn’t aware of the lens the light of the world go through. That lens is me – my ego, everything that is not PURE being (as in verb).
    After that breakthrough the little details that were holding me back started being obvious, but it is true what they say, the devil is in the details.
    Big part of those are limiting beliefs. Those damn little things that tie you up in a helpless ball. I had a challenge trying to get rid of them, and then universe sent me a gift.
    I know this will sound cheesy, but I can recommend to others trapped in the same hole the same thing – it is a bundle of goodies to set you up in every aspect. A book (like 160 pages+audio book version) covering manifestation topic, split into bite sized chapters;
    21 day workout, love and happiness mind trick, the money mind-flood system;
    small books on healthy eating habits and fitness. I’d love if those interested in it could DM me but I don’t have an account here. I’ll drop the link:
    Manifestation Miracle
    and my email: kerobero227 @ gmail .com for anyone with questions.
    Thank you for reading if you’ve read this far.

    Have a beautiful day !
