There’s never a need for Plan B

“The second I decide something is done, it’s done. I just have to wait for all y’all to see it.”—Will Smith

Or in many of our cases, we have to wait for ourselves to see it. The minute we make any intention, it’s real, it’s a viable creation. But until we can feel it and actually “be it,” our intention stays on a vibrational plane that’s out of our sight.

Making intentions isn’t the problem. What you’ve been intending is already present. It’s just that you and me and everybody else is stubborn enough that we keep staring at its lack. Until we can catch up vibrationally, we are unable to see and enjoy our fabulous creations.

As Esther Hicks likes to say, “We’ve already created enough joy and happiness for 20 or 30 lifetimes.”

I hope this is a comforting thought. That our only responsibility is to get ourselves tuned into the joyful vibration where blessings flow, to begin resonating to the vibrational catalog of fun, love and laughter. We literally have to distract ourselves from all thoughts and emotions that block the natural flow.

Most of us are really good at the first part of the equation. Making the intention. But the second part, the part where we get out of our own way and allow love and joy and the new Mercedes Benz into our sphere of awareness is often more problematic.

So for right now, forget about your intentions. Just focus on every brilliant, juicy, fun delicious thought you can think of. Be grateful for every little thing. That’s everything that even remotely resembles your intention and everything that doesn’t. When joy is the dominant emotion, you’ll be able to pull good things out of the air like magicians pull rabbits out of hats.

  1. Thank you, Pam. I read all your books. I know we are all one and you can attract someone specific. Could you write about this more if you don’t mind? Some experience to share? Thank you very much.

  2. Hi Pam,
Wonderful message!!! I tend to intend then forget about it which is fine but then I think about how it may never happen because it has taken so long. That is indeed my biggest downfall. I figure I am getting older so owning my own little house is likely to late. But it is not. lol. I agree with Dai and would love to hear some of your manifestation experiences. Would be so uplifting. Oh by the way I am still watching Father Brown.
    Love and Blessings,

  3. Thanks Pam…working on being in the blessed moment..being joy and giving it away today. So many possibilities.

  4. Thanks so much for this post today. Thought you’d like to know that while out walking this morning, I was thinking to myself I could really use a little email/blog encouragement from Pam today. Imagine my joy when I checked my email only moments ago to see your message about a new blog post, highlighting one of my favorite Will Smith quotes, no less! And I absolutely appreciated the reminder to get out of my own way as I’ve been doing that a lot lately.

  5. Pam,
You truly are the ‘Voice of the Universe’! If I had to list all the ways your books and posts have helped me, and helped me to help others, I’d need my own blog!
A thousand thanks for being you!

  7. Thanks for the great reminder. It can be scary to not have a plan B, but that’s where faith comes in.

“Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

  8. Omg! I actually really did get a Benz earlier this week. A black Mercedes sedan! And boom, you mention one right in your post! I’ve been practicing the art of allowing and feeling worthy of all the good that the universe has for me and voila, I got a fabulous new car and a great deal on it! When I picked it up at the dealership, they presented me with a dozen roses, a big red bow on the car, and a gift bag chock full of Benz goodies! (Yep, my water bottle looks so much more stylin’ wrapped in a Benz coozie!). I’ve followed you, Pam, in addition to the teachings of Abraham for the last few years. And I also pay special homage to the late beloved Louise Hay, for her positive affirmation teachings. And from what I understand, she drove a beautiful Rolls Royce! We all are worthy of deserving the very best, whatever we believe that it be for us. Dream it and find the feeling place of it. The universe will deliver, maybe even with a big red bow. Thank you for your continued inspiration!

I love Pam Grout’s simple, clear explanations! If you are setting intentions right and left and not seeing anything manifest for you, try her suggestion to stop focusing on what you don’t have (yet) and start focusing on all the fun and joy and beautiful things you DO have. Before long, Presto!! Your intention “manifests” without any seeming effort on your part!

  10. Now, what was plan B? Funny how you can intend something and then you get it but not quite the way you wanted but the way your thinking allowed. I have always written down the things I want in life. And yes, I got every single thing. Some came in a slightly different package. My own home in a safe neighborhood is a manufactured home in a park but it’s gorgeous and extremely safe for a woman of considerable years living alone. I wanted a Tahoe and ended up with a Suburban instead. It turned out to be a better deal for this gypsy. If I write it down and make a picture in my mind of what I want, I get the best version of that for me. My daughter says I’m the best manifestor she’s ever seen. Once I’ve written it on paper, I can let it go. I was looking for a perfect lifestyle for my late years and I have it. May not look like that to someone else, but I’m darn cozy. Appreciation along with joy and trust in the Universe are the keys. What’s next? Thanks for having these little tidbits out here for me to find when I need them. Like little breadcrumbs on the long spiritual path.
