Today, according to my Scrabble buddy Christine Smith, is International Buy a Priest a Beer Day, Opposite Day, Banana Day and Wonderful Weirdoes Day.
It’s also the perfect day to share a few new stories. Enjoy!
1. “I’d love to share something that happened yesterday, following my first “party game” from “Thank and Grow Rich.” It totally brightened my day.
“In the morning, I wrote on a Post-It note “Something magical is going to happen to me today” (making a little heart sign right after “today”). After work, I met up with 4 of my girlfriends: we usually meet in the city center, as we all live in different parts of the city. But yesterday, for the first time, everyone came to my neighborhood. After drinks, we decided to grab a bite to eat. I suggested the Italian restaurant near my apartment. Well, something magical did happen, which had not occurred before, in the 10 YEARS I have been going there with my boyfriend or my family. When the waiter brought us pizzas, we saw that the chef had made them heart-shaped for all of us! We were treated like queens the entire night. One of the most fun dinner experiences I have ever had!”
2. Yesterday, I wrote to Elena asking for permission to use the above story. Turns out there’s this addendum:
“I started doing one experiment a day since September 1st and I am blown away by the immediate results I’ve been getting. Aside from the amusing heart-shaped pizza (Party Game #1), I have also received some amazing financial benefits in the last week. I am a documentary filmmaker / public speaker and I routinely take my film on tour. Just this past week, two universities doubled my rate (from the original one we had discussed) and one even doubled the number of hotel nights they’re offering me (“just in case there are weather problems”). Needless to say, this has never happened before. Now every time I check my email, my heart is filled with so much joy and positive expectation, thinking “I wonder what amazing thing comes next.” Thank you for being the catalyst for such positive change in my life. Once I finish Thank and Grow Rich, I plan on starting again the party games on October 1st and doing one every day, just like I’m doing now. And then again in November… and December…
3. “I’ve been an actively manifesting since E-Squared, but have still not ‘fully surrendered’ to the fun joy ride the Universe is giving free tickets out for.
“This morning I prayed for the first time since I was 18. But this time I let go of the resistance I had towards my biblical understanding of prayer and just let it all out. I demanded help from the universe to prove to me that I didn’t need to try and control or worry about a thing.
I went for a walk on my lunch break and as I walked passed a woman I’ve never seen before in my entire life, she smiled from ear to ear, looked me in the eye, pointed to the sky and said “he’s listening, he’s really listening.”
Goosebumps and fist pumps followed as I laughed with the pure joy of the universe giving me the go ahead to let it all go and have fun.”

Nice when it works. I wake up every morning with my saying something amazing and awesome is going to happen. So far nothing I guess I am not doing something right

Or re-define amazing and awesome. It doesn’t have to be earth shatteringly big. Just this morning on the bus to work I witnessed something awesome and cooperative. Somebody had left a bag on the bus and had realized after the door closed. Two people combined to get the bus stopped and the bag in the person’s hand before the bus roared on to the next stop. Pretty amazing!
Now that brought one huge smile to my face. Life…you just never know. Thanks Pam for directing us to pay attention.

Pam, I just wanted to mention a beautiful surprise I had from my Dude, I asked to see a frog in my yard as they are scarce around here plus, no water for them either. One afternoon boom on my front patio a Praying Mantis, not supposed to be this far North. It stayed for sometime as I marveled at the beauty of it. The next week my husband called to me and there in our backyard the color of grass was a beautiful green frog! It also stayed a while so we could marvel in it’s beauty. i am know reading Thank and Grow Rich and I am loving it so far. There was never a doubt. If you are reading this Linda, I find when I really let go and forget about my request that it when the magic starts 🙂 Thank you Pam Grout, I love you, keep helping us to find the magic and keep us growing. xo

Dear Pam, Thank you for writing the books you write, for having the courage to go against what most people believe. I’ve just read esquared and ecubed and have been blown away. Now instead of just trying to “get through” every day, I see the joy and magic each day can bring. I have been one of those rule following types for most of my life and you have now helped me see that I don’t have to be like that anymore – I won’t self destruct if things don’t go exactly as planned. Your book reminded me of the one time in my life when I got to have ice cream for breakfast when we were visiting a relative – out of how many breakfasts I’ve had and this is the one I remember the most!! Breaking that rule was one of the funnest things I’ve ever done. I have 2 little boys and want them to find magic everyday and your books will help me on that path Thank you so very much, Tamara ________________________________

I’ve been reading quantum physics, ACIM, Abraham, etc for many years now. I have the information and my daughter calls me a world class manifestor. Still areas that need work but that’s what life is. Your books, and I have most of them, tell it in a very unique way. Each time I read or listen, I “get” something I didn’t the time before. You explain it so it’s easier to absorb into our cells. Rewiring takes a bit of practice on us old farts. Gave my daughter my copy of E2 as I’ve downloaded the kindle version and the audible. I have no doubt that the Dude abides. 🙂 Have E3 filled with highlights and sticky tabs and just got Thank and Grow Rich on Audible. Listened while I iron or sew or water the plants outside. I have a wonderfilled life that I’m extremely grateful for and will soon be sending my own story of wonderfulness. I just need to decide how much better I want it, in what way. 😉
I just received Thank and Grow Rich and am loving it !! Today while reading the part about exclaiming to the universe that something amazingly awesome will happen every morning, I just started sobbing. I had a major realization that I have been living my life so fear based and rigid and hearing those words just unlocked something in me. I am soooooo excited for this new way of life and my journey! My experience with E2 is a bit up&down; the first time I read it, no one of the experiments I tried worked, so I started reading the book again because I KNOW I FEEL there is something around me. Well I tried experiment 1 and I received a book I saw in the library 2 days before with my ex girlfriend and she bought it and sent it to me, exactly the day after the beginning of the experiment!!!! I didn’t recognised it until several hours later, but when I did, I said ‘COOL’!!!!!!
I tried again few days after but nothing happened…
Anyway, I’ll try again going through all the experiments and I’ll let you all know the results!

Pam it still makes me smile from the inside out whenever I see both a Green and a Sunset Orange car. When I did this experiment it seemed like forever to see them. Then on the way to put my Aunt into the ground I clearly wasn’t focused on seeing any colour car and then they started popping up everwhere, when the first 48 hours didn’t bring any into my view. Often the first lessons are always the ones to guide you to keep looking for miracles and what you want in life.
I did mean the first 24 hours, not 48 hours when it came to seeing a “Green, or okay, Sunset Orange.”
