E-Squared:  The 10-year anniversary edition (with a Manifesting Scavenger Hunt!!) GET IT HERE

The best parenting advice ever.

“Love gives us some pretty darn cool quantum powers.”—Greg Kuhn

My new favorite pastime while flying (at least when seatmates make it abundantly clear they don’t want to chat) is reading the New Yorker. Last week I read about a seven minute workout, custom cookie cutters made from a 3D printer and a 27-year old genius named Emerson Spartz who has already launched dozens of highly-successful websites.

His first, when he was 12, was Muggle.net, the most popular Harry Potter fan site in the world. It landed him on CNN and Fox News and J.K. Rowling even invited him to her estate in Scotland. Today, he has nearly 50 employees and raises millions in ad revenue every year. Did I mention he’s 27?

The thing about Emerson that most interested me was something his parents insisted upon when he was a kid. I have no idea if they made him pick up his room or eat vegetables. But there was one thing that was non-negotiable. He was required to read four short biographies of very successful people. Every single day.

In other words, his parents made it compulsory that he fill his mind with possibility, that he focus on success, that he learn about what a little creativity and vision can accomplish.

It’s like I always say: We animate into our lives whatever we place our attention upon.

Tell me in the comment section below what you’re going to place your attention upon this week.

And, just so you know, the E-Cubed Selfie Challenge will end on February 17, my birthday. So one thing on which to place your attention this week is the vision you want to create in your E-Cubed Selfie. If you’re new to the party, you can read about it here.

Make this week shine, my friends.

  1. We have the same birthday! I love your optimism and I learned about you from a friend who recommended your books. I’ll be thinking about you on the 17th.
    Camille

  2. After I leave my job of 35 years this week, I will be placing my attention on what amazing new opportunities will come my way to volunteer helping other people or helping elephants (my totem).

  3. Hi Pam, I’m on my 4th reading of e-squared. I’m a Religious Science minister, recently retired from the pulpit, a little burned out. I’m reading your book again to remind me of what I believe, and to practice it!
My husband and i decided to move to Nebraska and put our house on the market, amidst many cries of, “houses aren’t selling down there!”. I turned an deaf ear, because of my belief in the possible. I’m still believing, but it has been 7 months and not even one person has come to look.
I, however, continue to believe and feel in my solar plexus that we are moving soon.
My focus this week is on my new life in Nebraska and all the fun inhave with my 11 year old granddaughter!

    1. Hey, I’ll see you in Nebraska, one state away. In fact, I’m doing a girlfriend getaway to Omaha sometime in the next couple months to see an energy healer.

    1. It is done. Have fun with packing and with moving. And I mean that with every breath I take. Anything can be fun if we decide to make it that way.

  5. Your Birthday is on Feb 17th? Mine is Feb 11th. Guess what other famous person was born on the day. 😉

  6. What a fantastic treat😘✨💖 Thank you for your light, Pam✨✨✨ I focus on my fantastic work☺️ 3 years ago, at the age of 54, I decided to skip my job and to realize my dream of being a decoupage artist. My unique, amazing husband, supports me 100%… So we have invested everything in my new career. I paint, I design, I have exhibitions… All my paintings, whether on canvas, metals, furniture, pots, Easter Eggs, etc., are provided with positive manifestations of Faith, Magic, Trust, love and selfconfidence… In my imagination each person who buys my things will get this positive mindset as an extra gift from me☺️ I also tell all my friends of the age 50+ that passion and dreams are ageless! and encourage them to pursuit their passion and dreams… After 2 years of searching for a company in DK, who would help me to transfer my paintings to silk, I finally found a wonderful couple who does it, and this year I have introduced unique and exclusive scarves. I have also introduced a movie about my work on youtube. So this week, …and this year I focus on earning my first 1,000,000.- DDK, and on massive breakthrough with my prints and scarves. Additionally, I focus on meeting with Oprah W., Louise Hay and Dr. Wayne Dyer, all three, who have been my teachers, my mentors my guides during last 8 years💖 Everyday, I am grateful and filled with love and joy all of which I gladly share with everybody around me💖 Thank you for all your wisdom that you share with the rest of the world, …and thank you for this space allowing me to visualize me💖 I AM Mag L Brammer from Art Mag’ic by Mag L✨✨✨

  7. I am going to focus on what makes me happy 🙂 instead of what worries me and be open to new possibilities I hadn’t even considered. I’m expecting some happy surprises this week!

  8. I am going to focus on not judging any thing or anyone including myself, and I plan to have a guilt free week!!!!!!

  9. Being asked out to a wonderful Valentines Day date! Considering its been years and I just went through another dating fall out which I took rather personally this time, instead of focusing on the rejection and how much I was hurt, I’m choosing to believe that hey, its ok! As one door closes, another always opens! So I’m looking forward to the universe sending me a ‘fantabulous’ Valentines date this coming weekend, because it’s ok to feel a little spoiled sometimes 😉

    1. Great idea. Don’t focus on how you were hurt. Focus on all the blessings that come from every event in our lives. It’s only judgment that it was “bad” or that you “were hurt” that keeps love away. It’s time to open all the doors and windows and let it all come in.

  10. Boy do I look forward to reading this every week Pam you just inspire me and my focus today is to have a pain free back and neck !! For the post earlier The woman selling her home !! My story goes like this.A few years ago I had a rental property for sale really needed to have it gone ! I felt it was the right time and put it all to prayer and give it to the Universe. That was in November 2013 we went through the winter months NOT many viewed it at all it was a harsh winter. March had come and the message seemed clear,it wasn’t the right time after all . I was disappointed but left it still to the Universe and took the sale sign down and put an add in the paper for rent !! No sooner had I done that when one day just out of the blue I noticed our real estate agent in our neighbour showing a couple a property for sale and then my phone rang it was my RE agent saying ‘ I know you took your property of the market but these people are looking for exactly what you where offering.any chance they could look at it ‘? Making a long story short,I sold my property that week and got a great price for it also !!
It just kinda blew me away selling a house NOT even on the market and proving How this marvelous Universe works !!
Thank You Pam for reminding me also how this works !!
Happy Monday from a wee Irish Mammy living in Canada 😃

  11. I am placing my full attention on being with my soulmate…I excitingly await a precious & sweet heartful hug & talk. After a 9 year wait (which is today), I am expecting and so excited to be with him! Thank you!

    1. Hi Mary–Here’s a thought. Rather than waiting, love everyone as your soul mate. Because everyone is. Love is everywhere. It’s our No#1 superpower.

  12. Today, I will focus my attention on finalizing our first KIDABRACADABRA presentation! It’s 2-weeks away and I am so excited to share with other mommies about the magical power of our words and teaching our children the power of positive affirmations and belief that anything is possible!
I ❤️❤️❤️❤️ this parenting advice! I think this would be great information to share as well!

  13. Ted Turner is the object of my focus this week. He has been the center of a few synchronicities lately, one of which was reading his statement, “The world is awash in money.” I would like to hang out with some wealthy people who know “where it’s at,” and so I’m going to hang out with Ted this week. Maybe online, where cool people hang out.

  14. Thanks, Pam. The focus for me this week is to stay balanced while working towards my goal. To calmly and steadily move forward while following my inner guidance, which I might add is guiding me to do some crazy things 🙂
Love the quote about quantum physics and love. Can anyone suggest a good book on quantum physics for the layman please? Not sure where to start! Loving your blogs…

    1. Gregg Braden’s Divine Matrix isn’t a bad place to start. And Greg Kuhn has several books that are available, at least here in the U.S. probably in Australia, too.

  15. As a freelance musician i choose to focus on being in demand for my services. I believe therefor i receive. Thanks Pam

  16. I’m focused on loving my son and my partner and being loved in return. Im focused on watching as lots of good healthy possibilities come my way and life becomes better bit by bit as the negative control of others from the past lessons. I’m focused on getting my own life back to live happily.

  17. I’m really focusing on releasing the old and something that keeps stirring up is releasing my old business name “Winky Boo” and embracing all my business completely under my own name. Being a life coach and writer that is what I do, but I have Winky Boo lingering around. Formerly my clothing company, I dove into this spiritual path and haven’t done anything with Winky Boo since. Tried to transition it into a Lifestyle brand, but people seem to connect with my name and me as an actual person.

  18. Focus on the wealth of health in store for my whole family. Moving beyond the fear and solidly picturing successful, sustainable health!!

  19. Reblogged this on Health Food Store Girl and commented:
Wow I love this advice. After reading Pam’s books, followed by many others, I have found a path to many miracles and a joyous life that I have now and constantly maintain by staying on the “high flying dish” and educating myself and listening and learning to the many teachers that are available to me in this amazing connected world. I have however struggled with trying to teach many of these concepts to my children, just not finding the right words or examples. This is such perfect way to show something without actually having to describe it, just to “lead by example” in a way, the example of the smartest brightest people and how they got there and to inspire our kids to do the same.

  20. Hey Pam, this week I am in the process of Creating the Impossible with Michael Neill…the Supercoach. My creation is an on-line coaching practise and generating $3000/month more using the the 3 Principles (a bit like ACIM).

Happy Birthday! Mine is on the 20th!

  21. My focus this weeik and for as long as it takes is getting rid of old stuff and simplifying my life. I’m making space for transformation, i am available for more good than ever before. All things that don’t serve me are gone, and only things and people that matter, love and beauty, peace, abundance, health and happeness surrounds me. This week I am spring cleaning my mind and my life. I’m so exited about the newness in my life.. All things are made new… I’m so exited, and i can’t wait to share my gifts with the world… 🙂

  22. I am going to put all my focus on looking for the remaining items on Experiment No 2 in E Cubed. I started Sunday 10pm Spanish time and by Monday morning I had already magicked up a cute baby smiling at me out of a parked car window, my friend’s son posing as the 1st pic in my Facebook feed and clutching a giant red bowling ball (to me it looked just like a beach ball), and get this: my first ever royalty statement which showed… drum roll please… a total of 2.22! Then just as I was driving to collect the kids from school and was thinking how blessed I was to see these things so quickly, I passed a giant billboard which said ‘Welcome’, and outside the school gates 2 ladies were carrying a Wendy House (the kind I used to play inside when I was a kid). Amazing! Just the hat, song and laugh to go… Thanks Pam. Your book is so unique, so much fun to read and so life changing 🙂

  23. Practiced this with my kids last night over dinner! My 9 year old son picked Odell Beckham Jr (who is a NFL Giant player in case you have no clue, I did not), my 6 year old son picked Martin Luther King Jr, my 11 year old daughter picked Teddy Roosevelt, and I picked Lady Gaga (go mom!) We were excited to learn that 2 of our picks were Nobel Peace Prize Winners. The kids were actually receptive and excited, and the internet made it super easy to find information, though my daughter told me “Mom, don’t you know you cannot trust ANYTHING you find on Wikipedia!!?” Looking forward to more of these practices and to miracles that will follow!

  24. Hi, Pam, thanks for your books, I just read “E square” and would like to share with you about my life. I read more your thoughts they are the same or similar to mine and my boyfriend – I remarked them. My boyfriend doing research thoughts already long more years and last year he produced a book about a strongest power of the world – thought. Just would like to introduce you with this book and if you would like we could contact and share our thoughts – I and he we both and he by himself had more paranormal events, and he has an explanation of them. 25. Greetings again, Pam! I LOVE this! Interestingly enough, I have decided to actually use your blog to help my kiddos with remembering (not learning) that they are equally capable of producing all the little miracles their hearts desire. My intention is to focus our attention on celebrating even the smallest miracles. Starting with pennies to save up for the turtle they recently put on our vision board… (Somehow, I just Know – yes, capital “K”) that we will get a turtle long before the pennies add up to enough to “shell” for one 😉 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOU DO AND SELFLESSLY SHARE TO REMIND US OF WHAT WE ARE CAPABLE OF!

  26. Hi Pam! I’m playing with my intuition this week, using it to move through my day more mindfully. It’s a lot of fun practising and I’m noticing many more signs from my guides. It’s all part of my E-cubed goal to be myself this year, the real me. My psychic side is aching to be acknowledged and I’m no longer afraid to hide it from the neighbors. Hey, we’re all psychic; I’m going to play with mine. And I’m focusing on the Alaska cruise. I would LOVE to go but I know a lot of other people would as well so I’m focusing on EVERYONE who really wants to win it being able to. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?! I feel the happiness welling up inside of me just thinking about it. I can hardly wait! Yay!

  27. Happy Early Birthday Pam! I have been practicing the law of attraction for a little more than 7 or so months. I am writing a master’s thesis about my self and becoming aware of my thoughts and feelings using Pam Grout’s book, E Squared, and Rhonda Byrne’s book, The Magic, among other enlightening resources. Pam, I love how unfiltered you are about life and how the way you look at ordinary, mundane events and turn them into extraordinary, compelling, motivational, and inspiring advice.
I have 3 kids and at times, I have difficulty motivating my son. I believe this exercise of having him read about successful people, will in turn, become part of his thought perceptions which will eventually become a jumping board for him later on in life. I work around kids with behavioral problems. Student after student admits the same things: if you don’t care I don’t care, my parents called me stupid so I must be stupid, teachers called me annoying and dumb, so I act like this cause no one cares. It’s sad. I’m constantly trying to add kindness and love and positivism to their mind sets. But, like we who know about the universal laws, it’s hard to deflect society’s and people’s harmful words and rules about our lots in life. Therefore, for my son as much as for my students, doing things that emphasize success, achievement, and positive traits will help in so many ways break cycles and add to love in the world. Thank-you over and over again Pam!
As for what I am going to focus my attention on this week? I am going to focus my attention on the ordinary, mundane things that come and go on a daily basis and find the blessings or lessons in disguise to share with my readers for my thesis!

  28. That is an awesome habit to foster in kids. Mine are grown but I plan to begin with myself and encourage my children to follow.

  29. Hello Fellow Aquarian! Mine is the 9th and my husband’s best friend is on the 17th! I have never worked on my B-day and spent a wonderful day on the beach and at a wildlife sanctuary! We are getting ready for the Age of Aquarius!!!

      1. Thank you so so much! Happy BIrthday to you too! I know you are going to have a wonderful B-day and really great year!!! I love all that you do to show the world the F.P is on our side! Heaven on Earth for All!

  30. My wife to be brought u to my attention. The last couple of years I have been digging into a concept that has forever been right before us. In explaining it to her, I suppise u came to mind. She went on to say how similar our ideas are…YET, I believe the concept I’m preparing is somewhat of an evolvement of ur foundation…as it regards how ones thinking shapes ones reality. On that aspect I agree. However there is more to that idea. Simply put ( and I have yet to really read any of ur works…) words are what gives life to everything. Thoughts are a series of words that’s je sense to the individual. For without words…life itself would wither away. Therefore, to enlighten u to the concept I’ve come into the know of…is simply the function and design of words. Words have the ultimate say on all our lives. Yet, I must say this and please understand my intent. U say thoughts shapes a persons reality, and I mentioned before my agreement…yet that’s not the whole truth of the matter. There is one fundamental aspect so many people have and continue to overlook. For there is a process that begins on us prior to thoughts, or at least our understand of thoughts. Because of this process, if we fail to give it its recognition, the shaping of thoughts is at best difficult for most, genes the reason so many ppl struggle with being able to shape and manage them into a longevity of happiness. Curious as to what ur thoughts may be in regards to what the process referring to. I look forwards to ur response and hopefully some enlightening conversations to follow. Hope to hear back from u sooner than later…smile

  31. This weeks goal… To clear out clutter and make room for new and wonderful things, experiences, friends, memories and adventures. I’m listening to e-squared on audio while clearing out cupboards, so I have given the dude 48 minutes as opposed to 48 hours and guess what..? It works just as well. Taking it to a new level….
