Okay, so I saw this picture. And it reminded me of me. Or at least the me that sometimes pouts, the me that sometimes forgets to look around and notice the freakin’ awesome “ball pit” of a universe I live in.
So I decided to throw a contest. I will send a free copy of the audio version of E-Squared to the person who sends me the happiest picture of themselves in a ball pit. Last I checked, these ball pits were available at most every McDonald’s Playland on the planet and last time I checked, most every adult on the planet needs an excuse to jump in and have fun.

Pam,
Went to Garrison Keller’s farewell show last evening in Colorado Springs. For 2 hours he held the audience. It was poignant, sad, funny and enlightening. He was saying good bye. But he left with a single word of wisdom.

Such a funny picture! And a great reminder. When I am unhappy, no ‘thing’ can make me happy. And when I am happy, every ‘thing’ is included in my happiness. Ergo, things are immaterial to happiness.
Thank god for simple truths. It makes them easier to remember the two dozen or so times a day I forget.
Well, I’ve never been in one of those but it would be an interesting experience. As someone who never really learned how to play, I might have to give it a try. I’m about the same age as the woman in the photo and my smile is broken but the happy would maybe shine through anyway.
